Revelry is the worst event in any destiny.
The armour is dump. Verdant forest is boring. Literally no challenge and/or joy to be derived from it. Arbalest is decent, but needn't have been locked behind this event. If anything it sticks out in the mire of absolute dross. Revelry tonic idea is so poorly play tested it almost proves there isn't any. How could you not see it breaks all PVP elements of the game and most likely renders most pve a joke in equal measure, minus some of the frustration. It's just unfathomably poorly thought out.
I hope the hunter shinobu spammers are happy with themselves too, the bottom feeding rats.
Yeah yeah, can't beat them, join them. Not possible when quests are character based...besides, shouldn't have to!

I spent the first evening getting the exotic, and I've hardly touched the fame since. The tonics being available in all game modes was a massive mistake.

I actually like it. It changes up the usual boring load outs you see; gives everyone a chance to be random and fun and just try out crazy shit! I’ve been trolling with constant invis or infinite trip mines. Seen quite a few double nade Strikers (annoying) and some gross always in their rift Locks (annoying). Idk to me it’s an enjoyable few weeks to just get out of the rut we seem to been dug into. Just my opinion tho, everyone’s entitled to one!

Agree this one is the worst. I did an entire strike without using a gun....nades only. That's just stupid.

To each his own. I like it. While not as good as the Dark Forest event, it's still fun. Earning a decent exotic for the event is a nice touch. I think some of the armor sets look pretty good, except for some of the Titan stuff. I couldn't care less if it breaks PvP. Let it. It's nice to have some fun in that mode for a change.

Its absolutely broken most everything and I have not had so much fun in A LONG TIME!!! Seriously going to miss running Capt America w/ near infinite shield throws in pretty much all events. My Warlock is almost a real boy again with near infinite solar grenades (how I miss the old Sunbracer setup) . Hunter, well I ignore him right now except to get my weekly enhancement cores off him but he's fun too. I'M GOING TO MISS THIS EVENT but only because its broken and for absolutely no other reason. Well I like my antlers too, going to miss those as well back to looking like crap again!

It is all on the individuals mindset. I am enjoying it.. and this is coming from someone that hates d2 due to its lack of focus, unbalanced pvp, and boring af pve that is only year one content... I went into pvp and spammed a couple, played against spammers etc and was like blah.. But then I changed my approach. This is THE best time to improve yourself in pvp. I got off the meta crutches and changed my sub class. I dove into my load out and broke the norm. The challenge is fun to go against this with not using the tonic or weapons with advantages like my Luna. I get the frustrations.. but look at it in another light. There is nothing better than throwing sniper bullets in a players face that is trying to spam a nade that will never reach me.
