Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Taken on Io, so let's get to taking out their command, one by one.
Ta'aurc, Aspect of War.
From what I can gather, he commands the Taken from an underground cavern beneath the Grove of Ulan-tan. He's well protected, but with the right team, we punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on the Echo Mesa.

1 ReplyThe taken knight boss in there is Urzok, the same bullet sponge knight that appeared during public events at the Skywatch in the Cosmodrome
-
1 ReplyOh good god, why?! The meme has returned!
-
43 RepliesAlso, the Taken Knight is Urzok, the Hated from Destiny 1. You know, that Knight that appeared in Public Events in the Skywatch in the Cosmodrome and had an insane Arc Shield.
-
Well at least he’s no longer a bullet sponge
-
2 of them are bosses from Destiny 1 strikes. The other one, the knight, is that big taken boss that showed up in the Cosmodrome in patrol.
-
2 RepliesEdited by gjeroniemo: 4/29/2019 2:59:39 PMAll of them are enemies we have seen before in destiny 1. Urzok was an event boss in the skywatch and drevis was a wolf baroness.
-
1 ReplySpeaking of, the Invincible Knight and the boss from the summoning ritual(on Titan) are reskins of Aluk-Hul the Darkblade from the Sunless Cell strike in Taken King.
-
7 RepliesIf i'm not mistaken all three bosses are larger versions of the ones that appear on Io that open the anomaly in the first place.

Edited by Wolfie6252: 4/29/2019 7:01:46 AMI'm a little upset people are only figuring this out now

Meh, he doesn't live up to RocketsMcDickface.
btw they are all from D1
-
Where's his nice machine gun
-
2 RepliesHis name is Darts McDickhead.
-
6 RepliesI wonder how, after us killing them to death by murder for several years in D1, they were able to get a Taken form. Maybe it's just an easter egg type thing and not really canon to the lore, but maybe there's an explanation on how they came to be reborn as taken versions.

1 ReplyHow dope would it be if they brought back the original strike? Lol the nostalgia is real ❤️
-

1 ReplyAll three of the bosses are taken versions of enemies from Destiny 1: -Valus Ta'aurc -Urzok the Hated -Drevis, Wolf Baroness
-
Edited by red_devil_9909: 4/28/2019 7:27:51 PMIt's urzoc the hated , valus ta'aurc and drevis wolf baroness

Sounds Logical.

If you pay attention to the yellow bar enemies in Verdant Forest, the Knights have names. One of them is the Aspect of Urzok or something to that effect. I noticed laat night while farming for my Hunter chest piece to complete the set.

We all love our baby Ta'auc... He likes to spam rockets and firing gatling guns... 😂
