That's the point... The way he said "Ace has like 50% of total crucible kills" is like saying a Civic must be faster than a Ferrari simply because they travel more total miles on the planet based on their popularity.
His statistics are completely flawed because he doesn't consider that 5% of the playerbase CAN'T feasibly kill more total players than the 95% that only have Ace.
It's simply poking fun at his lack of understanding of why the rarest gun in the game doesn't have more kills than the one handed out as a welfare exotic.

So if that’s the case then why don’t the stats reflect the same on console? If it’s a welfare exotic and apparently godly on pc then why doesent it have a large % if kills on console since everyone has it and its good? Oh right, bloom and recoil. Don’t nerf, buff instead. You missed the point.
