Yea, upsate though. Little different the closer you get to the city. Keep in mind these houses need absolutely nothing done to them. I paid $270k for mine (4 BR, 3 full bath) but I've had to redo literally everything. Kitchen (floors, cabinets, took out a wall, electrical and appliances) new floors throughout the downstairs, new carpet upstairs, built ins, completely redid bathroom downstairs and so much more.

Never done, man. The biggies left on the to-do list are both bathrooms upstairs and a new deck and fence around the pool. Someday I'd like to finish the basement but that's lower on the priority list. Other, "little" things would be busting up the concrete steps in front of the house and redoing the fireplace.
