Sooo, I suck at killing enemy guardians when their super is active. Any suggestions for what supers to use, what weapons, what skill tree, what mods etc,.?
Also, did they make it easier to get the ship, ghost shell and sparrow? Haven’t seen those.

Don’t use roaming supers, use shutdown supers (thunder crash, blade barrage, golden gun, chaos reach, etc.) Also has high-impact snipers and fusions, stuff you do lots of damage with quickly
-
1) you don't need to be in your super. use a linear fusion rifle, rocket launcher - whatever you can kill quickly with (scout rifle) best tip: when you know a invader is coming - stay towards the outside - stalk them - keep them in sight but stay out of their line of sight. wait for the super to prock, if they don't prock, don't come out of cover. super procks - LIGHT THEM UP, don't miss.

Like others have said play normal gambit. Get to the third round. If you win the first round throw the second. If you lose the first try and win the second round. I got alot of kills in the third round. Forget the primeval and just invade

Use Blade Barrage and Shards. If you don’t have them, grind and pray to RNGesus for them. Then play normal gambit and try to get to the third round. It functions as Mayhem so one hit with Blade Barrage will instantly give you back your super. So if you run straight into the invasion portal people will almost always be using their supers trying to melt the primeval and you can pick them off easily with as many BB as it takes. It took me no more than 2 matches to finish the triumph once I realised this.

Save your super to kill other supers. Do not use your super to kills the AIs. If you play Warlock, then use Chaos Reach or the Nova Bomb, Blade Barrage or Golden Pistol for the Hunter, Thundercrash for the Titan.

Edited by DonMarfil: 4/21/2019 9:38:43 PMMy advice: Do not care about Dredgen until the ship and the sparrow drop from the meatball eventually. All other steps are in your hand (well, more or less) but you don't want to chase the meatball for ship/sparrow when you have completed all other steps. As to your question: They claimed they upped the frequence for the meatball, but i haven't seen it for quite a while, and i'm playing gambit a lot recently (1200 pts until Dredgen). BTW: You can buy the shell from the drifter after resetting gambit rank three times (no matter what season). I never saw it drop occasionally.

6 RepliesIf I'm not mistaken, the light vrs. light was changed when the season of the drifter dropped. Before you had to wait until the invader activated their super. Now you can get credit for killing guardians with your super when you invade. The ship was the hardest to get for me because of rng. The spawn rate for the meatball was suppose to be upped, but it feels the same to me.

Edited by DredLaP: 4/21/2019 7:34:02 PMSadly it requires playing gambit, which blows. yes, everything is easier to get now. Its one of the easier titles to get.
-
Just play the game mode. It'll happen naturally. I'd suggest you get a wardcliff coil + blade barrage to counter any oncoming supers. Invading with super is usually a rare occasion. Only happens when the opposing team is desperate to catch up.

6 RepliesDon't try to force it. That will just lead to frustration. The Light vs. Light kills will come in time. The ship and sparrow require you to kill the servitor boss. All drops chances are random from the, but once a character has the Malfeasance quest drop, their next drop from the servitor will be the sparrow, and then the ship. To get the ghost, you have to reset your Infamy rank three times.

Edited by kfc: 4/21/2019 6:56:00 PMTry keeping your super as well fight fire with fire blade barrage if you are Hunter nova bomb for lock titans are little tougher but hammers work well
