Make unlocking the forges and pinnacle weapons account based instead of character based.
It’s extremely tedious and time consuming to unlock all the forges and all the pinnacle weapons on each character, so please just make it account based bungie.

As with Season of the Forge and Season of the Drifter, the objectives are tracked on your Triumphs page, so progress can be made on any character at any time. I do not believe the earlier pinnacle weapon quests will be moved to account based tracking, but I can check with the team.

Couldn’t you just not do the pinnacle quest on certain characters once you’ve already gotten it? Not like the quest is stuck in your inventory. And it’s also not like the forged take some insane amount of time to get, but I can see it getting annoying if you’re doing it a third time.

You guys can think all you desire here but it aint happening. Might as well make forge weapons on titan (update em as well) account based and the list goes on and on....not to mention these so called *cough* 'harcores' gonna have a word with yah on this. Do I agree, absolutely...once you get it, you can pull it. Simple as that...fast makes no one money...slow makes tons of money..

I hope they have another conference discussing the current status of the hybrid engine and if there are any plans of changing the engine to unreal engine 4.

Yup, I’ve been saying this since destiny 2 released. Exotic quest, pinnacle weapons, etc. needs to all be account based, if we have consumables and shards account based why cant the other stuff also be that way? Everything in destiny should be account based, I want to play other classes too but I just cant bring myself to unlocking stuff all over again

I mean the pinnacle weapons this season are tied to triumphs so they are account based now. Forges yea they should be too.

3 RepliesNothing should have to be unlocked on each character. This was so damn annoying having to beat the campaign 3 times to get to the tower. I also hated playing through the story on TTK to unlock Kingsfall on each character.

4 RepliesI agree about pinnacle weapons, i disagree about forges. Weapons, yes, we should be able to use any character to work towards that goal. They've made that change in the last couple seasons, and i like that. The main reason i disagree about forges is because i used unlocking those to get experience/gear for each of my characters. I do that with all activities like that. It's an easy way to get those things, and it's not hard to do activities like that for 3 characters, especially when you do them around the same time. I think the reason people want it account based is because they spend so much time leveling up 1 character, that they burn themselves out and dont want to go back to do others. While i understand that, that doesnt mean they should cater the game to those people. We have the option to make 3 characters, so some things in the game should stay geared towards that, like beating the story, unlocking forges, etc. If you want to do all activities on all characters, then suck it up and go through the process, stop asking to make the game even easier.

U don't need to unlock the forge on other characters anymore. U have unlimited frames now. If u need leveling just play one of the countless power drop sources. Leveling up I'm unavoidable

10 RepliesI’m not disagreeing, but why do you need more that one pinnacle weapon. Can’t you transfer them from character to character on this app? As for the forges once I got a good roll on each weapon and jotun there was no need for me to do them again.

Oxygen SR4 and 21% Delirium did auto unlock on my other 2 characters. Only the first one of each dropped powerful but the others were also curated at least. Breakneck, Lunas, and Loaded Question however...

I agree with this. Unlocking the Forges was a long mundane exercise that I have no desire to repeat.

Pinnacles? I purchasd them from collections on all chars after unlock. Lucky me? -
4 RepliesUnlocking the forges on all 3 characters wasnt bad. Just dont do it all in one sitting. Took me 3 weeks to unlock it on both my hunter and titan. I just took my time and did a few quest steps each week.

4 RepliesIn my opinion, they should make almost everything this way. It's so boring and time consuming doing everything 3 times. It's the reason why I abandoned my Titan and Hunter after Forsaken.
