I just played the only way to earn orbs for that triumph and it's near impossible to stay alive long enough to get headshots with the grenade spamming going on. Bungie closed down the other options to get them in order to fix the guitar bugs. So you cannot earn them in Gambit, you have to earn them in Quickplay Crucible.
Bungie, give us the triumph you locked everyone except the 1% out off. Or give us back the Gambit way to earn them!
Upvote if you agree plz!
Ps: don't get me wrong i will grind it, but they made it near impossible to get for the average player.

126 RepliesThe team is looking at options on this. One suggestion that we've seen is reducing the amount of orbs required for the triumph. When we have info, we'll let you know.

5 RepliesNo hand outs. Earn it you lazy git
-
I did it in like...2 sessions. 3 hours total.
-
Agreed. I refuse to play 30plus crucible matches for an emblem.😡
-
Agreed. That decision was bullshit

1 ReplyI managed it yesterday. For some reason there was a lot less grenade spamming in Supremacy. Still a bit of a grind though, but no where near as bad as QP.

18 RepliesEdited by killer spree71: 4/22/2019 12:48:54 AMI agree. Bungie should change the parameters of the triumph if they can’t get it right when they put it out. I think this error code that has been put out is just a ploy to get their crucible numbers up so they can say that it’s a popular thing. And bungie please stop making us play endless matches of crucible for triumphs. It’s ridiculous
-
I already got it, but I feel like it would be better if they just cut the number in half.
-
Yeah, so far the most I've managed with all of the grenade Spam is 8 orbs in one match. I am not going to sit here and play 25 rounds of crucible just to get a damn triumph. You took away an entire half of our options for getting this fhing done. So at the very least, reduce the required number of orbs by half.

4 RepliesTo be honest its been the first week and this triumph is kinda easy, got myself to 156 orbs in mostly comp
-
Just going to mention you can skip 2 of them to get Arbalest
-
-blam!- NO I grinded for it! Its possible!
-
Oh stop it. If you can’t get a kill that’s on you. I did it. You can too.
-
Just do it in quickplay. Its not that bad

6 RepliesOne triumph out of all of them and it's "hard" to get seriously? Get over It then you either work for it or you don't get it that's life
-
Here is another reason why Bungie should just give up on crucible. They have no idea on even how to play or issues like this would show up in testing. Seeing how everyone there is an issue they either have no concept of how to play or how to test. It is a failure all the way around
-
Dude I got it without spamming stuff and playing normally not even on my main class in a day while in Vegas and playing casually....come on...
-
4 RepliesBungie could offer me a solid 24k gold unicorn as reward, and it still wouldn't get me grinding toxic Comp PvP for headshots in that blizzard of grenades ...all for a bloomin triumph!
-
3 RepliesSorry but Bungie did this intentionally. You see the pub stomping sweaty elitists and their clans were complaining that this triumph was to easy and that normal people should not be allowed to complete so they came up with a BS comment about a bug and shut down Gambit as an option to complete the triumph. Just another example that Bungholio does not give a flying fcuk about the normal people playing the game.

3 RepliesI gave up on the emblem at the first day of event, not gonna do 50 bounties. Too boring, i can't stand to this game more than an hour. Got my exotic weapon, got the full set for my Warlock. Maybe i'll get the full set for Hunter next week, maybe i won't. Event is too boring to play.
-
I don't think I'm that good and it didn't take me too long to finish it. I had 76 orbs done when they turned them off. I'd say to reduce it down to 100 since they removed half the options.

Wasnt that hard in crucible

There’s really nothing Bungie has balanced correctly in the game. Why should a triumph for a time limited event be any exception to that? Well justified angst over the state of the game aside, it really isn’t okay for Bungie to slap a crash protection bandaid on an issue that results in a challenge becoming harder and/or simply more tedious than intended, and taking no other action. That’s just poor handling. On the other hand, Bungie has shown an utter inability to test, tune, or balance anything, let alone push out updates in anything resembling reasonable time frames except when they need to find a way to turn something off (particularly something they can shut down via serverside livetuning). So while it’s really not okay for Bungie to not handle this situation any better (and, let’s be honest, this is not the only issue or controversy that has cropped up with this event), par for the course would be no further action from them. Hell, we’re more than 7 months deep into Bungie refusing to appropriately recognize and react to the reality that adding cores to infusion costs (and making infusion otherwise resource costly) doesn’t make it more rewarding, impactful, or meaningful, just that it irritates players or has players choose to avoid infusing for extended portions of their light level progression to bypass the economy. We’re on a similar timescale with PvP weapon sandbox tuning having a lot of obvious and significant issues that remain ignored. PvE sandbox tuning likely has as many or more issues. So, Bungie, issue major fixes to a 3 week event? Not bloody likely beyond what they’ve already done.

Crap happens! No big deal. Either auto complete this triumph or reduce the number of orbs. Sounds like an easy fix. Don’t know why it wasn’t already done though.

6 RepliesIt doesn’t cost money though
