Hey all,
We’ve been tracking an issue where Guitar errors were appearing frequently in Raids, Gambit, and Gambit Prime since the Revelry event went live. Through our investigation, we’ve found that Orb generation off of precision kills, specific to Revelry, are causing these errors.
Effective immediately, we’re disabling precision Orb generation for these activities for the remainder of the event. Additionally, we will be disabling this functionality in Competitive Crucible. While we are unable to disable the effects of Tonic buffs, we have the ability to disable Orb generation which has been a topic of feedback since Revelry went live.
Triumphs and Bounties associated with Revelry orb generation may be completed in Quickplay Crucible playlists, Strikes, Patrols, Black Armory Forges, and the Verdant Forest.
This is crap. You screwed your players for 3 weeks for a stupid event. Cancel the event after the first week. Test crap before releasing it. This broke Crucible. Admit your mistake and close the event early. Send a little message or something in game saying "We havw been stealing your money... we can't even test crap* before releasing it. OOOPS! Our bad! We so slow... We will close the evwnt, dring a smart potion and bring it back next year without all the BS" easy...

You'll get over it 👍

We are listening. We won’t fix anything, but we are bla-bla whatever.

I feel like the only thing they legitimately -blam!-ed up is not adjusting the "revelry competitive" bounty, since we have to hit headshots in crucible now intead of gambit. Other than that, everything is fine. As for the crucible, I think it's a fun pleasant change. Besides, it's only temporary. Have some fun with it! I've played QP and competitive under tonic influence and I'm having a blast

This man is right.

Hahahaha Cancel the event - get a grip.. jus cos pvp is clunked up, pull the event? Other folks are having a ball in Verdant, strikes & story missions. But screw them, it's all about Crucible.. Again 😋😆

Edited by Ido X: 4/21/2019 3:01:18 PMIf there is a part of the game that's messed up for all of the PvP community for almost a month, and you figure out you can't fix it, then you should postpone, shorten or cancel. This is a huge show of how little they invest in quality. It makes people stop trusting them to produce something good. Take Blizzard for example(at least at the beginning), who would work on a game for years like Starcraft Ghost or Titan and just scrap it because it would be less than awesome. This keeps people in a position of knowing they will bring out good games. The Destiny franchise has stupid things like this, that makes people leave more and more. After 2 years, Forsaken is kind of what we expexred to buy when the release came out and we had to pay a lot to get it, because up to it, the game was a huge let down. How many sales and free weekends they had to give this game a fighting chance. They barely make it out. It cost them a lot. Now when Forsaken is doing great, they come out, and put an event that could have been tested to ensure all aspects of the game wouldn't be screwed up, and then release it before they make sure it's good, they just throw it out there and piss off a bunch of their players. A week of this, is tolerable, 3 whole weeks is insane...

I'm a part of the pvp community and I, like many others, welcome this fun temporary change with wide open arms.

Edited by Ido X: 4/21/2019 5:05:48 PMYou just glad you can a Go up a bit in glory for the first time... Plus even Bungie admits it's bad and that they didn't see it being bad in Crucible. Proof that they don't test... so you can welcome it, but you are just one. There are way more people pissed than happy, waaaay more. Look at the forum, videos on youtube, etc. It is a hot mess...

Lmao, your salt is flowing hard. Itll be ok bud, you'll have your crutches back in a couple weeks. Good players adapt.
-
Lol, which crutches...? Don't have any of the OP weapons right now. They said it was a mistake and that they did not forsee this would happen.
