Why is the Cosmodrome quarantined?
Reply back to this with an answer, this is something I want to know but cant figure it out.

3 RepliesBeCauSE ZaVALa’s aN iDiOt. Think about it logically folks. The shank there is called an “irradiated” shank, suggesting that there are high contents of radiation in the area, and as we find out in the “Ecydis” lore book radiation is bad for guardians as they’ll just die and be rezzed and die again in an endless cycle. And for the record, Zavala isn’t even the one to blame. Saladin was the one to put the ban there in the first place, and only lifted it because of the SIVA crisis. The radiated area probably expanded due to the SIVA and Fallen running around the place spreading it. And since Saladin isn’t our commanding officer Zavala is the one who enforced it. We have no reason to be there anyways, because we’re literally Avenging one random cryptarch from the reef. All of these darn Edgelord Dredgens spreading propaganda and slander against Zavala is just tiring. Sure, he may make some mistakes, but points like this he has good reason to tell us not to go.

Same deal with the moon and other D1 destinations that aren't available. Really, think about all the environments we are in with no ill effects. Hard vacuum next to the sun is no problem...

6 RepliesMy guess would be SIVA. When Amanda was like "ooh don't tell Zavala you're in Old Russia ooooh... " during the Thunderlord quest, I was like "fk him. He's a nobody, and he doesn't even have the light anymore. If he says anything to me, I'll Golden Gun him to hell".

Most likely radiation, also there are no enemies in the cosmodrome anymore, so being there doesn’t help us(the devils packed up and left when they joined the house of dusk)

It was quarantined already Saladin let us into the expandedzone during the siva crisis but now the quarantine is back

Because Zavala has no balls and the radiation there is off the charts high and SIVA is still around. Plus it’s irradiated from the splicers.

Along with SIVA, I would also say a healthy dose of radiation. The Siege Engine did use a warhead for power, and we crashed that thing over the edge of the Wall; wouldn’t be surprised if some of the radioactive isotopes the warhead used had leaked into the ground and spread via water
