Sandbox Patchnote (2.2.1): Striker Titan Reversal Change

Hey all, We've just come across a minor change to Striker Titans that was not included in the last round of patch notes from [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Explore/Detail/News/47738]Destiny 2 Update 2.2.1[/url]. We wanted to give a bit of context for the change, so here's a quick writup from the team: [quote][b]Sandbox:[/b] For Arc Week we made a bunch of changes to the Striker Bottom Path. The result of these changes was an increased effectiveness at performing melee kills. This, combined with the previous buffs to the super to make it last longer and therein get more melee kills, led us to the thinking that a slight change to "Reversal" was in order. Previously, it gave a small health bump and kicked off regeneration. We removed the health bump as we felt like combined with the new melee effectiveness it made the Striker too tanky, and almost mindless when fighting up close. We still want you to be able to dive into the fray and knock some skulls around knowing you have survivability rewards for execution. Now you just need to be a bit more careful and mindful when you do.[/quote] The patch note being added is as follows: [quote]Reversal • Removed the small health bump on melee kill; from 20 health to 0. • This ability immediately starts health and shield regeneration. [/quote][/quote] Yo for real tho everyone at bungie needs to be -blam!-in fired all these events are gay as -blam!- I mean flowers and shit what happened tho the game being dark and not a gadget ass game to play and this event about the 3 week grenade spam really is that the best that bungie could do I'd prefer the old bungie to make this game but sadly they sold bungie to guys at 343 then they changed back to bungie but all y'all there look like a bunch of LGBT -blam!-in man bun faget -blam!- get some real men and gamers and developers and get rid of all of y'all scrub ass. Niggas at bungo now before anything because y'all are the weakest armour designers

      • Seriously?! How was this even a problem in the first place? It's really only prevalent in PVE activities. It can't be a problem in PVP, as there are other abilities in this game that also have health regeneration. The whole "Titans are too tanky" makes me laugh, too. What the hell are we supposed to do? I guess our armor is just for show.

            • "...made the Striker too tanky,..." Considering this buff to the bottom tree of Striker seems more prevalent in PvE over PvP since you can chain the effect better with more enemies in close proximity, I have to ask: Why is this a bad thing?

                Why are Titans so pissed about this? This change has been active for almost 2 weeks and no one noticed which means it clearly didn't change anything for how people use the subclass path. So, why are Titans making a big fuss over a change that they themselves didn't even notice until it was pointed out to them by Bungie?

                    • Everyone was enjoying the titan just the way it was post patch....but when Bungie points out that they forgot to mention the change, everyone loses their mind...a lot of you love to complain. You still get regeneration, stop crying.

First off, if you guys actually learned how to read, you would know that this change was already implemented and no body friggin noticed it, meaning its had basically no impact. Second off, this isn't even a nerf. This is a minor change that I would argue is better. What's going to help you more? 20 health back or full regeneration over like 1 or 2 seconds? That instantaneous 20 health ain't going to help you out very much. You all are actually pathetic.

                                • I realize what is the point for Bungie to add and remove little stuff on destiny 2 knowing Destiny 3 is already in the development cause PlayStation 5 coming out 2020. Bungie did this to be on Hot Topics to be talk about.. Now the big question is when Destiny 3 comes out will some of us will buy Destiny 3? Bungie is not going to fix Destiny 2 or make changes to Destiny 2. The only thing will be is sandbox increase and decrease power that is the only thing Bungie will keep messing around it. Bungie won’t add any new maps to PVP or any new strikes or any new locations in the game
