It's the triumph about using your super to defeat enemies. You can do that in any part of the game.

Really?? "During the Revelry 2019, generate Orbs of Light in the Crucible or Gambit while affected by Revelric Light." Because I am at 42 of 200 and I need precision kills with a gun to get more.

The triumph you listed above is different from the one i'm talking about. You asked where were patrols mentioned in the triumphs, that's the reason i said the triumph i did. As for the triumph you mentioned, you can still do it in reg gambit. The thing they disabled was precision kills having the chance to generate multiple orbs. It just means it'll take longer to do the triumph now.

Edited by icecoldkidd: 4/18/2019 7:12:39 PMI have gone back and re-read every triumph and I have not seen where Patrols are directly mentioned as an activity in which any portion of this event can be completed. Unless you are referring to where it says, may be completed in any event - which I believe participating in a Public Events would qualify but that was not listed in Dmg update above. Getting past that.... Thank you for the info - but I disagree. "Effective immediately, we’re disabling precision Orb generation for these activities for the remainder of the event. " Gambit being an activity it is cancelled in. they are disabling precision orb generation - not multiple orb - ALL orb generation from precision kills in Gambit. Edit: I hope you are correct, but not going to hold my breath. Also - Dmg and Cozmo did reply to anothers comment - Quickplay is option to complete this.

Yes, that is the triumph i'm referring to. The reason public events probably arent mentioned directly is because you can only do them in patrols. Patrols is the umbrella for when you just go to a location and roam around, which includes doing public events. As for the second part: creating orbs from headshot kills has never been a thing. You just created orbs using supers or masterwork weapons. Creating them from headshot kills is only a thing for the event, in which you have the chance to create multiple ones. It's just like the other time they had an event and we had to create orbs. Anyway, basically all they are doing is making it like normal when it comes to generating orbs: through supers or masterwork weapons. That's it.

it does not work with supers - try it out. you must get a precision kill in order to generate the orb - that is what the Revliery ______ thing stated. you don't get precision kills from super - so even as a warlock with nova bomb and clearing out an entire area creating 7 orbs - you get ZERO credit towards the triumph. I know, I played 5 matches last night. Created well over 100 orbs - only credited for 42.

I stand corrected.

not a problem - Bungie does use very Vague wording sometimes. BUT with all the multiple triumphs I can also see how we can be talking about different things. Additionally, the reason I know this one specific was going to be a problem - I was 2 or 3 maning it and we were counting the completions as the matches were progressing. Buddy still log in yesterday after I messaged him about posting and gave it a try for himself - needless to say - hey was unimpressed last night. Given the backlash - I am guessing there might be a fix coming - At Reset - but with I.B. next week, Bungie may try and ride it out hoping that players will be willing to go into there since it has SBMM. and the poor will be matched up against other poor and since all are only doing it for Precision Kills - might not be the spamfest that QP and Comp currently are.

I'm confused, you dont get credit when you create orbs where? What activity are you talking about?

Read it and made my comments based on what it said. I stand corrected.
