1) it lasts about half the duration of other supers and you'll likely burn half of it just trying to reach someone before you get melted.
2) to get a decent heavy attack AoE you have to jump up high, exposing yourself to just about everything to get your head shot off.
3) it has the most unpredictably worthless tracking - you might hit someone in midair you weren't even aiming at, you might miss someone standing directly in front of you... in fact you're more likely to hit someone midair you're not even aiming at than you are to hit someone standing directly in front you, that's how screwed it is. Its even worse trying to use light attacks near multiple opponents, I've shot through the MIDDLE of two people standing next to each other because apparently it couldn't choose which one to hit and decided to hit nothing instead.
*Edit: To clarify, the majority of my complaints with this super are PVP based. In PVE it's mostly just alright. Some dodgy Slam mechanics here and there, sometimes shooting you forward, sometimes not etc. However in PVP this Super has major issues with hit registration, along with Seismic strike suffering similar targeting issues as well as activation delays and kill delays. Unfortunately I don't record my own gameplay, maybe I'll start, because I could show you all some seriously whacked out targeting.
*Edit2: PC version, EU servers.

Edited by Infamous067: 4/20/2019 5:20:15 PMThe top tree is not about the super though, the top tree is all about spamming grenades and using your shoulder charge. The top tree is also a beast at taking down other supers, its not meant to be a full on roaming super. Hey be happy fist of havoc is even a roaming, in destiny 1 it was a one time thing and now titans can roam with it, thats way better than warlocks who still have one nova bomb and cant roam unless using nova warp which is a whole different kind of super.
-
2 RepliesIt's about time Bungie started giving the Striker Titan some love, the super is useless in Crucible and terrible in raids too. I couldn't believe it when they nerfed it..It was already in need of a buff, not a nerf ffs.
-
Top tree is all about nades and shoulder charge g
-
1 ReplyYe but infinite shoulder charge is still too addictive....
-
26 Replies1. Revert the Super back to a single slam for the top tree Striker 2. Terminal Velocity increases the radius along with the damage depending on how high you are 3. Move Shoulder Charge down to bottom tree and replace it with Storm Grip from Destiny 1
-
1 ReplyI'm STILL waiting for ONE good fist in D2 like in D1. I don't need to fly across the map, I don't need multiple weak slams, I need ONE good fist of havoc with immense damage and a fast animation. Doesn't exist in D2.

5 RepliesYou’re doing it wrong. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=XAIVfmVkfAs

18 RepliesIf you're choosing striker for the super you're doing it all wrong. Shoulder charge and nades, esp with skullfort, are strikers big strengths, not the super. However I'd agree titans are currently the weakest pve class overall.
-
1 ReplyThat tree really isn't designed for pvp.
-
1 ReplyI use it all the time in qp, the super only as a shut down. I use skullfort to have infinite shoulder charge (but you can lose it)
-
All trees of Striker suck
-
True it needs a bit of a buff compared to nova bomb. The height buff was a joke. It's weak doesn't last long like the hunter arc staff. No regen.....
-
1 ReplyShoulder Charge bro
-
I don't feel the power of Terminal Velocity, to be honest, I think that's what it is called.
-
Learn how to Striker bro.
-
You may be using the class wrong? Top tree is for double grenades and shoulder charge. This is a get in and get out build. duel grenades that last longer are for territory control. The shoulder charge is meant to wipe out adds that are grouped together. Lastly, if you get to the 4th tier of damage for your super(extra high) the AoE that is left behind is better then thundercrash. Striker Titan for life!

3 RepliesUmmm I use top tree a lot and what u r describing sounds like middle tree....🤔🤔🤔 If ur having issues of dying, use the exotic helm, eternal warrior. Skullfort is really good for bashing. I use Dunemarchers tho. I like the movement speed along w the chain lightning mixed w a shoulder charge. Supers are a tad on the weak side for Titans. But they make up for it w grenades, support, and movement.

7 RepliesJoin the club. Just like top tree Dawnblade, bottom tree Voidwalker and top tree (I think) Sentinel.
-
2 RepliesI posted this weeks ago, nobody listened...meanwhile arc web arc staff got buffs and anyone can outrun top tree. F4cking bias community and devs.
-
bottom tree tether is worse, top tree dawnblade is just as bad
-
Bring back the D1 sublass menu.
-
1 ReplyIF it did not have the biggest AOE range of roaming supers and you could outjump it in the spike up, i would agree. But it is simply a decent super for a roaming super. Compare it to the other classes roaming supers and try again....
-
1 Replytop tree is for neutral game; shoulder charge and double nades put in work. It is definitely use super as soon as you get it class.
-
The whole concept of top tree dawnblade from the super to neutral game is about staying in the air so i feel your pain
-
They should give top tree Headstrong from D1. The slam attack is only ever useful on the initial activation as it currently stands.
-
2 RepliesSo is bottom tree nova
