Multiple catalysts for the same weapons
I really enjoy catalysts, I wish every season we could have some introduced. I like having them drop, unlocking them and seeing how they affect the gun. However over time we would run out of exotics. I’d like the same exotic weapon to have multiple catalysts. They can require different tasks to unlock and offer different perks.
For example, the current sunshot catalyst improves range and stability. The other catalyst could increase magazine size and add outlaw. That’s just an example but there could be different catalysts for different play styles.

Yes, range for PvP, mag and reload for PvE. It's a great idea, so it'll never happen. In fact, update 2.2.2.2.2.2.2.2.2 will remove 5 rounds from the mag and reduce the exotic perk by 50% because no-one asked for it.

Catalysts should be available to unlock on [b]every[/b] Exotic. Just have the Lore give clues to how you unlock it. And No you shouldn’t get multiple catalysts [b]yet[/b] because some of us haven’t gotten a single one on our primary Exotic yet.... Selfish ass

6 RepliesNah. Sounds good in concept, but I'd rather not have to add more grind on grind. Imagine going for a certain catalyst for whatever weapon, but getting on of its other catalysts instead. Then you need to play even more of whatever activity you get it from in hopes of getting it again. I'll already have to devote my next month to trying for all the strike catalysts I'm missing, I'd rather not have to add more on top of that.

2 RepliesForget catalysts. I’d like to see exotic weapons and armor drop. Like at all. From anything. I literally never get an exotic drop. I’d wager that over 90% of my exotics have been purchased from Xur. That isn’t ok.

No. Because bungie will just take this idea and make it impossible to level weapons when they should have cool perk trees to unlock as it is.

We would have to go ahead and get 1 for every exotic first. I wish they would add rh for armor too but somehow they would get a million complaints about the OEM catalyst making it "even more OP" lol
