UPVOTE - To make Petra a vendor like Asher or Devrim to sell dreaming city gear for BARYON BOUGH's
Baryon Bough's are a useless consumable. I personally have several hundred taking up space in my vault.
Make Petra a vendor to trade this consumable for dreaming city weapons and gear!

2 RepliesLike Age of Triumph. Weekly rotating rolls on the weapons, making it possible/reliable to get the roll that your looking for since the weapons barely drop in the dreaming city.

The catch now is that too many people have literal truckloads of that stupid plant and, as with all things, the armor/weapon packages could be farmed for enhancement cores, and we can’t have enhancement core farms

1000 times yes. I don't have too many stocked up myself, but it'd be nice if we could use Boughs like we could other planetary mats, to buy gear from the world vendor. Having Petra sell her own armor would be really nice too, as she's currently just another bounty whore vendor.

Edited by J_v_K: 4/15/2019 12:30:04 PMI was about to actually post something regarding this issue but I arrive in the forum to find you have already beaten me to to it with 780 people already upvoting you, which is quite reassuring really because it tells me this is a major concern to a lot of folk. I for one have 3000+ baryon boughs but absolutely nowhere significant to spend them. Heck it even says on the Baryon Boughs to take them to Petra Venj to understand their value. I do that, aaaaaand nothing, like WTF Bungie!!! Having Petra Venj act as a regular vendor would go a long way to doing something about this issue. On the same note having the Spider also act as a vendor would also help a lot. Yes, I get that I can trade in Etheric Spirals for glimmer and legendary shards but being able to get weapons as well would be a nice bonus. Lastly I would like for us to be able to do something about all the Bounty Notes we have from Tess Everis. I have almost 100 of them but beyond buying other bounties there is little else to do with them.

3 RepliesThe reason they didn't is because Dreaming City can drop enhanced perks. Having enhanced perks on tao would render most other armor obsolete.

Only several hundreds? I have almost 8 thousand doing nothing but clogging up space, I haven't bothered deleting it incase it becomes useful one day. I wish spider took it for shards or glimmer.

1 ReplyLet's take this even further than that.... How about we abandon the whole Faction Rally concept (which would seem to be the case already) and simply bring back faction vendors..... PERMANENTLY. They could then sell their gear for glimmer, legendary shards, and one randomly selected planetary material. An example would be: New Monarchy chest piece: Week A.) 5000 glimmer 25 legendary shards 50 data lettuce Week B.) 5000 glimmer 25 legendary shards 50 baryon bows I don't know... Hell, I pulled this out of my [censored] while I was taking a [censored]. Surely you guys/gals at Bungie could implement something like this......... Right?

My preference would be for her to sell (at a pretty high price in boughs and maybe also some dark fragments) the mods which are currently locked as rare (very rare in my experience) drops behind Last Wish. The weapons and armour drop so much from her bounties, though, I'm not sure if it's needed. That said, I have had a ridiculous amount of boughs and no purpose for them anymore.

If they do, it would be expensive because people have so much baryon bough in their inventories. I’d like to see it, but i doubt it would be user friendly, at this point.

Yea and make it work the other way around. Have the other vendors sell bounties that give y2 versions of their armor.
