There is no reason Luna's should outclass literally every other primary weapon. Any other legendary hand cannon or auto rifle stands no chance in a straight 1v1 with a Luna's player who has any semblance of thumbs. Scout rifles should be the counter to these hand cannons by out-ranging them, but scouts have sucked for all of year 2 and counting. Luna's, and especially Not Forgotten will still win in the mid range against scouts and pulses because it can 3 tap even at the beginning of it's damage fall off so it has better time to kill than any of them. I've played Destiny PvP since almost day 1, and these are some of the most meta-centralizing guns in the game's history. The last time the game was this centralized, we had the exact same problem. Thorn and Last Word outclassed everything in the crucible, so using anything else was a self-inflicted handicap. The situation is arguably even worse now because Luna's and Not Forgotten aren't even exotics! At least using Thorn or Last Word back in the day took up your exotic slot, making you at least ponder if it was worth using them over some other powerful exotic special or heavy weapons (it usually was). Now, there is literally zero downside to using a Luna's or Not Forgotten since you can pair them with any amazing exotic you want in another slot, they outclass every other primary, and aren't even that difficult to use. Bungie needs to do something about these hand cannons or they're going to lose what little crucible participation they have left.

The answer is not a LH/NF nerf. We need more variety of maps, like in D1. Some of the bigger maps should make a comeback, idk, or maps similar in size. You can counter LH at close range with TLW; NF is harder to counter if you are up against a good player, but can be done: Bygones, Furnace or any good pulse rifle can beat NF on range, also Jade Rabbit, fusion rifles can be a good counter. You got to adjust your playstyle accordingly. But yeah, playing against good players with NF can be very frustrating sometimes. I don't like it when Bungie nerfs stuff.
