You can ignore my broader definition of gamebreaking all you like. The fact remains that Bungie’s stance on infusion has actively driven people away from playing and is a clear component in why people aren’t willing to come back. It’s not a question of being unable to “navigate the economy”, it’s that doing so undermines the gameplay experience in strictly unengaging and unrewarding ways that actively discourage continued play, which is the exact opposite of Bungie’s intended goals for the system. When a system is doing the opposite of its stated intended goals, that’s a big problem, no matter what semantics you want to impose on exactly what adjectives to use to describe said problem.

  • This it broke the game enough i dont want to play. Your stupid narrow minded view and selfcentered egotistical "get over it" statement makes you simply look ignorant and trollish.

  • Oh don't worry, I will. We'll sit here and see what Bungie decides to do. oh look...the aren't removing cores. You won't stop beating around the bush. It won't happen.

  • True there is no point fighting anymore. Bungie will not budge. People need to realise that and simply move on to other games

Right! But check it. If they open up for deliberation, then by all means, go and protest.

  • Hey, if Bungie wants to continue to fail to fix their game, that’s on them. It’s the reaction I’ve come to expect. I make the choice to do my part to provide feedback that I believe will improve the game, even though I stopped playing months ago due to a host of issues. But I’d much rather see people on opposite sides of issues argue with points better than “it’s possible to work around it” and “get over it” or “Bungie won’t change it”. The biggest trend in this situation has been that by and large, nothing has really emerged as an actual reason as to how the current economy improves the game, at all. And that’s indicative of a problem.

  • I don't think you know or like the word no. I don't understand you. They said NO. What does NO mean? anyone want to wager a guess?? It's one thing if they said they were in deliberation about it, IF they were in deliberation. They. said. Over. Ten. Times. NO. at this point it's a wall you will not go through, around, under, or over.

  • I know bad design when I see it, and I’m going to call it out as needed, and for the love of Sparta do we have plenty of things to call out in Destiny. It doesn’t matter how many times they’ve said “no”; they would be far from the first developers to reverse course on a decision due to response, feedback, live data, etc. Failing to work towards improving the game is not going to keep the playerbase happy or stable in the long run. It does not require a crystal ball to see what the likely consequences of an unhappy playerbase are for the long term of a franchise. So unless Bungie is actively looking to kill off the Destiny franchise, I don’t think it would be wise to hold so firmly to the idea that they won’t make changes to address this situation. Because it is a major issue with the community, whether you personally feel that way about it or not.

  • I love how you keep talking about how I feel. I don't feel anything. I understand that they have control over their game. And here you are, Mr. Entitled, telling bungie how to do their job. You guys can't accept no as an answer yet want to be heard. You disregard and disrespect their decision yet demand fair say. put an application in and work for them. or go make a game yourself. Lord, help these people.

  • They are making a product. We are consumers. Sure, they do have control, but the idea that they shouldn’t have accountability to their customer base, or that customers are entitled for wanting their feedback to be meaningfully addressed, is a farce, particularly given that this is a game under live development and this particular fight is over a change that was basically announced last minute and forced on consumers who had already purchased the game. You are clearly just trying to find ways to invalidate, blow off, and ignore the issues and the argument. You are not contributing anything of value to the discussion.

  • None of you are contributing anything to the discussion. You're all spamming the same rhetoric after it's been decided. It needs to stop. You clearly will not yield and will be wasting your time. Whatever man. You do you.
