Provide more sources.. thatll give reasons to do a strike, public events, kill wanted enemies, etc etc...

If its how it is now then it honestly wont be changed for the better. It took a good bashing for bungie to change things even for Masterwork cores. They simply just changed the name and gave it another way of getting it. Its highly likely that they wont even budge on it because its a crutch which simply slows down progression in the game which they like doing.
