The only time I'm unable to infuse is when I don't have enough planetary materials. I have a surplus of cores, I don't even think twice about em when I infuse. If bungie removes them from infusion I couldn't care less. I must be the 1% that doesn't have a problem with them.

I have ALOT of cores, because I am one of the few that is actually smart to not infuse for 1 power or so. I only infuse every 25th power (25 to 50, 50 to 75, etc). So what if you are ugleh? so what if those weapons are not what you main out. deal with it all.

Yea, i dont like gathering the planetary mats. I wish they would remove THAT part required for infusing.
