In case you guys at Bungie didn't noticed yet, the "meaningful choices" and "impactful feelings" are in masterworking our gear, not in infusing it.
[i][b]"WOW! What a great choice I made, I still feel it's impact flowing through me"[/b][/i] said no player ever when infusing gear in this franchise.
I would love to appreciate this new events you guys are throwing into the game but in order to do that I need to be able to infuse my favorite gear without any hassles.
I want to play the game the way I like, not the way YOU guys want me to. Why? Because YOUR way it's not fun and feels like a chore.
You have access to my stats, go check them and you'll see this is the only time I stopped playing this game since 2014, even with all downs it had through the years. That says a lot about the sake of your game, believe me.

Wow! Infusing this gear from 678 to 684 is just the best feeling in game! And when you hit max light dude, it’s such a rush! Just like the other 5 previous seasons since the level cap keeps rising! Mmm but it only starting REALLY being meaningful around Forsaken when they threw those darn cores in. Man I was so glad when they did that. If you can’t feel the sarcasm literally dripping from what I just wrote, I’m sorry but... wow.
