Hunters are not underpowered

3 RepliesOh yea no Hunters are far from underpowered. But anyone saying Warlocks and Titans are underpowered you're lying to yourself. I have 0 issue wiping whole teams on both other classes. Titans have the best grenades and shoulder charge with really scary miscellaneous perks. Warlocks have some solid miscellaneous PvP exotics and pretty good supers. But I will say Warlocks do need some PvP love and Hunters need a bit of looking at with PvP. Obviously Spectral Blades is an issue which is going to be addressed but another thing I think needs attention is Stompees. They're a tad bit too good. I say scale them back like 5% on the increase since it feels like they add around like a 30% or 40% increase to jump height and slide distance and sprint speed. And before anyone says anything Im a Hunter main, been using them since S1 constantly in PvP. They need a bit of looking at. Now for PvE I would say everyone is on a level playing field with Titans falling a tad short of Hunters and Warlocks. I think the big reason simply is that Striker still is still somewhat lacking and Ward of Dawn is useless. Once those two things get buffed I think everything will be as even as it gets.

Dont believe me? When you play crucible on average the most used class is? Hunters. When you play Mayhem what do you get killed most by? Hunters. Who gets used for the most OP exotics? Hunters......meanwhile Warlocks are a close second and Titan fans get to watch warlocks use the D2 version of weapons of light and blessings of light in the form of RIFTS and also give warlocks the ability to side dash(Twilight Garrisons) without the need to use an exotic(further trashing Titans) plus Titan shields dont even shield lol Honestly Bungie should just remove titans from the game since they cannot compete with Hunters or Warlocks plus im sure by D3 Titans will have whatevers left of their already crappy abilities given to either of the other classes.....honestly think about it Bubbles are useless now and can be destroyed by a super with ease and you along with it when Zavala in opening scenes is seen shielding(bubble) a group of people from an armada that decimated a chunk of the building but a blade barrage or nova bomb or chaos reach or goldie is more powerful then an armada raining hell on a bubble? Riiiiiight 🤷🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️

Hunters are fantastic in every situation, same as the other classes. Each of them has their own strengths/weaknesses, but people complaining about being weak is incorrect. Not to say anyone isn’t allowed to voice their opinion, but I feel as though they need to focus on other aspects of the game rather than petty entitlements.

I know... nova too, but at least nova is slow n you can run from it. Barrage is instant and goes thru cover. Ask youself why everone uses them? Its not just because they look cool. S Blades needs huge nerf and the answer is not to give other classes the ability to have extended supers as well. That will just add more bs. Crucible is broken and unfun because too many people have too many things they can spam. Slide shotty, lol sliding needs a cooldown.

I love how the general consensus in some circles is that only hunters cry nerf... I mean it’s a noob class you hardcore players who chose the higher skilled classes should know how to handle such a low skilled pathetic class... That being said I won’t use anything that makes you upset. You can use whatever you want to win. It’s all good I play to lose.

2 RepliesAs a hunter main since day one on D1 I think spectral blades atleast needs it's super shortened cause they can lap crucible matches while killing. They are like energizer bunnies.

10 Repliesif you think they are OP though, then you are a Titan or Warlock main Spectral Blades badly needs a damage resistance reduction though. The idea of the super was to be stealthy and catch enemies off guard. All I see (and sometimes do) is people straight-lining towards groups with no fear and tanking all sorts of damage.

73 RepliesThey aren't overpowered either. They are very effective in PvP, but they aren't overpowered. People who say stuff like "muh spectral blades OP bruh lol XD" don't have any idea what they are talking about. Spectral Blade lasts long because of its purpose in the first place, which is to be an effective add-killer. Nightstalker is just... Nightstalker. Golden Gun has always been balanced. Blade Barrage functions as Blade Barrage should. Arcstrider is just Arc Blade but better. What is so OP about Hunters that isn't along the lines of "wah wah muh Spectral Blades OP wah wah? This is why people say PvP players are trying to ruin the PvE experience. People need to start turning their brains on for a change instead of blaming a class for their lack of skill in countering them. Isn't my problem.
