As soon as I saw the Thorn ornament I got annoyed bc its only in these "silver" bundles. Why can't it be availble once you fill up the Rose lore book?
These "bundles" take away from the quality of cosmetics. Why would we put more work on the free cosmetics when we can make peak eye candy and sell them for money?
You can immediately tell the difference in quality between the eververse engram ornaments and the ones in the bundle.
Some people have said to make silver grindable or even tradeable for Silver Dust and I fully agree. Youd have more people playing to grind dust bc then they can get what they want. Then you can gloat about how your game is still alive and kicking bc of all the people that came back.

17 RepliesThe fanboys will defend it regardless, because they love to be taken for a ride by this company. First they said it would pay for free content in D1, there is some doubt there. We did get updates and events, but most of them were centered around more MT's. They excused it in D2 when they actually started adding stats and bonuses to the ghost shells you couldn't get anywhere, saying you could just grind for it, and because you could grind for it there was no right to complain. Their thoughts of free content completely gone and anyone bringing it up was just an entitled hater that was mad because they weren't getting it for free. Now it's "They need money to keep their business afloat and support the game", probably because Bungie said so, not thinking about how little it probably cost them from the split and how much they have already raked in from MT's and purchases of the game+DLC. They'll change the reason again when it comes out that Bungie doesn't even need money from the MT's for the game and defend it regardless, but then again these are the people that defended clearly cut-content from the game back in Vanilla D1, so why are any of us surprised.

The last month before D3, they're going to bundle Not Forgotten and Luna's Howl in an Eververse package.
-
1 ReplyIt would be nice if as soon as a new exotic weapon had ornaments in a bundle that the old ones were added in the next season's engram loot pool. Hell, it saves Bungie time working on 1/2 ornaments. And we know how much they seem to like cutting corners.
-
You make some valid points and i agree that eververse should be removed from this game, but Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.
-
2 RepliesIt is... everything in Eververse is free with the exception of like 3 exclusive ornaments that people dont really care about
-
4 RepliesEdited by Corrick II: 4/6/2019 5:01:59 PMBecause Bungie needs money to make games. Hate to be the voice of reality but that’s pretty much it. They don’t have a publisher now and they committed to a business model that relies on microtransactions.
-
Why are there only a certain selection present at a time? Freaking Thunderlord's and Whisper's just sitting in the back too.
-
Ew! Cosmetics!
Why can't cosmetics be more impactful than cosmetic?
Fixed it.
-
Edited by MudShadow: 4/7/2019 2:57:15 PMthe entire ornament system is built on making more money. And if they weren't getting money for the cosmetics they just wouldn't make them at all. Not saying I agree with it but I know that they wouldn't exist without microtransactions.
-
3 RepliesBungie needs money. Give them money
-
5 RepliesOr, at the very least, don't price the DLC so high. In Borderlands 2, a head and skin cosmetic bundle for a character was 99 cents. If it were Bungie, it'd be 11 dollars. Likewise, an expansion in BL2 was $10. In Destiny, its $20, and half the size. Season Pass? $30 for 4 expansions versus $30 for 3 mini ones, or $40 for a singular expansion. Its just Bungie's way of doing things, unfortunately. They put their DLC on a very high pedestal, where it doesn't belong.

Silver sales go to bungie employee Christmas party 🥳

I'd rather leveling up the masterwork stat of a weapon be Cores or Grind.

I’m both for and against this For : I love grinding in the game and I don’t want to have to take out my wallet in order to pay for something in a looter shooter ,I’d enjoy if there was some kind of quest or specific drop rate from a strike / crucible match IE The Iron banner emote being a pinnacle item in Iron banner Against : Personally I’m not going to shell out cash for cosmetics so I’m not very effected ,but then again it does beat bright engrams as you know exactly what you’re earning ,plus with the split with Activision ALL of your money goes straight TO bungie rather than just a percentage so you will be fully supporting them,Not to say this should make you buy them ,it’s your money Extra thoughts : These cosmetics don’t seem to be as “shoved in your face” as it has been before ,as most who will just go to Eververse ,redeem their engrams and move on will just glance past them ,I do think the price should be lowered slightly,To maybe €5 each so we get more bang for our buck but again I would also like if these cash shop items were just a shortcut to skip a grind where these items can be acquired beyond the store
REEE HES A FANBOY REEE yeah yeah whatever man
-
You part with your cash for the game, then part with your time so you can earn the privilege of being able to part with some more cash to make it look decent. 'sup with that?
-
Or maybe just remove the dumb female dog and put all that loot in game and obtainable just like all our other items, that we’ve paid for 3 times over all ready.
-
Edited by BlaQinci7: 4/7/2019 10:50:54 AMIf they need more money just ask for it. Don’t trick people with slot machine mechanics. Drop 5 dollars and hope you get what you want. You should be able to buy everything tes sells straight up. I would buy more if I knew what I was getting for my money. Engrams should be bright dust. Silver should be for direct purchases.
-
2 RepliesEven the new arc week emotes. I’m really disappointed. And people said Activision was the problem.
-
2 RepliesPlus Tess is the only vendor who actually updates every season. I just wish there was a way to earn silver in game, like 1000 silver dust = 50 silver or we have a weekly bounty to replace our prismatic facet
-
1 ReplyPrepare for people to explain to you why the purchase of the game and it’s expansions isn’t enough money to pay for content in the game. Apparently it should have F2P paid cosmetics on top of it NOT being F2P because “Bungie needs money”.
-
4 RepliesI find it funny how they will have a team create these cosmetics to sell, but they can't even bother to give the vendors that are actually supposed to be important in this game an inventory. I get this company needs to make money, but making Tess the main focus when adding any loot to vendors is selfish as a company.
-
1 ReplyEdited by HollowedWayfarer: 4/7/2019 1:45:17 AMI just “love” how Bungie asked us if we wanted to see more D1 styled armors, only to take that feedback and bring in some new D1 styled armor that can only be purchased from Eververse for a limited time. Honestly that’s just BS. Would it hurt them to let some of these darn things be open world drops or something?
-
I'm ok with eververse and selling cosmetics. I'm not ok with the prices tho.. The prices for exclusive content (emotes/ornaments) are to overpriced. An emote or ship/sparrow should cost 200 silver max, maybe an exclusive ornament 300 silver. They could do a bundle between 500 and 1000 silver with a ship/sparrow or emote. Tbh i think a lot of ppl would spend money in eververse if the prices was like this.
-
Its a cosmetic. Are you really gonna drop 10$ for a weapon youll hardly use? Like is the Thorn really that good? Unless youre willing to put 1000+ kills on the weapon, i never see the point in buying the cosmetic items in this game. I dont remember the last time I saw someone actually use the old iron banner emote. That one emote that had the forum in an uproar.
-
I got all the exotic items from the shop last season. The bundles could be cheaper but the ornament should be high quality if you can only pay for it. Pay only cosmetics is how eververse started and I think Bungie is extremely generous compared to other companies micro-transactions.
-
5 Replieswym? they are pay are grind XD since vanilla ive gotten all if not most cosmetics by just leveling up lol
