So, idk if anyone else did this, but the nine have a lore tab that specifically name calls the veil, and that they can either stand or fall to the “veil”. The other connection I made, which I’m sure other people did too, but I just want to make sure I’m right, is that the Corsair Down mission is warning us about the Aphelion. Input?

We’ll probably be facing the Aphelion in D3 i think them including the veil are both servants of the darkness. (A bit like us and the Fallen with the light)

Edited by Stryder: 4/7/2019 4:22:38 AMQuick thought: the veil is the place in which the Aphelion (Servants of the darkness like us guardians) draw their power from. A place that replaces their dead god that was killed in the Collapse. A veil can often be a place as much as a door or wall. -Stryder

12 Replies<The Aphelion, a creature of Darkness based on the real life meaning and its powers, specifically the ability to create its own SKYSHOCK events, a trait shared by the Deep itself and the Taken. The word "veil" is an odd thing. In the lore tab "The Witch", it is in direct reference to the Darkness. Other times I'm not so sure. People say that it's a place between dimensions, but I'd call that a portal. I'd call that a door, not a realm unto itself.>
