Bumping again, due to no mention in TWAB again.
Bungie, you gotta talk to us. You have to talk to us about this. Stop dodging the question.

Not dodging the question, we have answered it. Unless the team changes their plans their isn't much else we can say on the topic.

Edited by ZENITHxZERO: 4/9/2019 3:37:53 PMThen maybe you could get permission from your masters to instead relay to us why exactly they, and by extension you, are stubbornly, arrogantly, stupidly ignoring such overwhelming majority feedback... Because their plans should be changing. We know it. You know it. They know it. So why is this still going down like this?
-
How about explaining how y'all decided to make infusion meaningful but not meaningful loot or a meaningful story?
-
The answer was a poor one. Bungie can do better. I guess this should be expected though, as great as D1 was, D2 has been one disappointment after another. Puzzling design choices, followed by terrible updates, long times to make any positive changes. And now this “solution” that barely qualifies as a response to a hot button issue. I said that Bungie could do better, but know I’m starting to wonder if y’all really can. D1 might have been the peak. SMH

I'd love to hear more from "the team", frankly. None of that "impactful Infusion" bullsh*t. I'd love for them to explain why this is the hill they want to die on and why "enhancement cores" are the legacy they feel they want for Destiny.
-
Guess I need to vote on this issue by leaving this game like so many before me.
-
Cozmo I get you’re doing your job, but honestly gather as much of the feedback on this, and show it directly to the team. It’s insane how much they don’t seem to care about our feedback right now.
Not dodging the question, we have answered it. Unless the team changes their plans their isn't much else we can say on the topic.
Stay strong dudes. Don’t give into these kids spamming the forum.

It's not just the forums dude. This is an issue but bungie won't budge

Edited by K1dP5ycho: 4/8/2019 5:54:14 PMI'll be honest? The answer given offers nothing to me. All I thought when I read that response was, "They're basically telling us to shove it", which I assume was not the intent at all. The reality of the situation is that there really is NO meaningful choice when it comes to Infusion, no matter how much you try to explain away or justify it. We're all trying to play the ever-increasingly harder content, but having to stop having fun just to do some mindless busywork just to be able to get in the door to do something like Reckoning is frustrating. On top of that, the existence of Core costs in non-matching gear is just a waste of the resource. We can already Infuse with matching gear and Exotics without Cores, so why charge us Cores at all for not matching our Scatterhorn armor with our higher Power Vigil of Heroes armor? They could be used for other things, like perk rerolls and the dozens or hundreds of other ideas given by players. If anything, the question has changed now. It's no longer, "Will you remove Enhancement Cores from Infusion?", it's become "Why are you all so adamant over such a wasteful and inefficient cost when there have been a plethora of ideas provided that can act as the meaningful choices that you so desire?" There is no reason the dev team can give for the cost to be there, there is no reason they can give for blatantly disregarding player feedback and there is no reason why the dev team THEMSELVES cannot come onto their own forum to actually talk to us about this. This entire game is designed to waste our time and effort but it would be freaking sweet to have you guys cut us some slack and make this small change to alleviate some of that frustration, at the very least. You will be doing yourselves a huge favour and you will bring back a good portion of the playerbase. We can figure out what to use Cores for later. You guys have the time and, by doing this, you will inspire some patience in us.

I mean....what's you and dmgs opinion on it?
-
Edited by TheMadKing169: 4/8/2019 5:13:35 PMI don’t understand this stubborn stance your team seems to be taking. Is it an issue of someones pride being hurt? What does bungie gain from keeping cores as infusion cost? Clearly the majority of players want them removed from infusion. Why are you guys standing so firm on this decision? Seems like such an unnecessary battle between the “team” and the people who essentially give them a job (the players who buy their games). Very odd to me.

Edited by Taoster: 4/8/2019 5:03:48 PMThe "team" is being pretty foolish.
