Blood Cleaver. Again.
Ok Bungie, I really dont want to sound demanding or anything, because I love d2, but something is seriously wrong with the Wanted Bounty. For the past 3 weeks or so, the bounty has been the Blood Cleaver. Seriously. 3 or 4 times now. I'm sick of it. Is there a bug or something that's causing this or is someone just not paying attention? I genuinely want to fight ANYONE else at this point. I dont expect a response but I would greatly appreciate an explanation on what the heck is going on, cuz I dont like it

104 RepliesThis is purely RNG. We are currently addressing poor selection in Nightfalls and Ada-1 Bounties (planned for Update 2.2.1) - I'll follow up to ask about Spider bounties.

1 ReplyReally. Your bounties on an RNG system. How inept are you guys? Just have a numbered order. Ya know. Like the Ascendant Challenges. They go in a specific order, how hard is it to do that for the Spider/Ada bounties?

2 RepliesBlood Cleaver is boring, but there IS an easy way to speedrun him when he's set up in Grove of Ulam-Tan. Jump up the walls/stone ledge at the beginning as if you were doing Whisper, then vault over to the hole in the wall. This takes you to the lost sector end room, Blood Cleaver will be down the tunnel leading to this room. Super/shoot him as he attempt to run like the dog he is to his bubble aaand you're done 😁👍

Its caused by RNG and by a lack in the quantity of bounties. There are only a few. If there were more we would have different bounties more often.

Probably the same thing that hit NFs being the same for weeks on end. Why don't they just have this stuff on a set rotation? It's nice to see Bungie's RNG system fail Bungie too, lol.

He is easy to kill, especially when he is in the Lost Sector by Asher Mir. He hides out on that rock island you can jump up to. Pop super, anything left shotgun or Thunderlord him. Dead before he gets to the back room, if he does lob a couple grenades in and he dies to the grenades. Be that as it may, the rotation of various items on weekly resets definitely need a looking into. RNG is RNG but not like this, seems like broken code.

2 RepliesI wonder why any of these things (spider bounties, nightfalls, etc) have to be RNG. Just put them into a rotation like the curse weeks in the dreaming city. Boom. Problem solved.

Know the pain, about 2 months ago I had the opposite problem, Blood Cleaver wouldn't drop for 6 weeks and finally did.

What's the difference? You kill him on Tuesday and forget until next week. We replay same strikes, same adventures and same raids over and over again and you whine about this little bounty? That's funny

This is not a glitch. The very nature of RNG (with the emphasis on the R) means a run of the same activity back to back is inevitable. On a long enuff timeline, your iPod will eventually play all albums in their original order. This is not a failure,or a glitch. It's maths.
