People voicing their opinion is not hateful and toxic - that’s not how that works. Calling them names, calling for them to be fired, wishing ill will upon them is hateful and toxic. Consumers have the right to express their displeasure with a product they have spent hard earned dollars to purchase when it doesn’t meet their expectations. Especially if the company that produced the product also created a forum for their voice and specifically asked for feedback. You are just as permitted to give them a thumbs up for what you consider a job well done as someone who is unhappy with the product. Just don’t lose sight of the rights of others.

Well, given how the first three years went compared to how the last 2 years you kinda gotta ask them “wth”. It’s not like 2 is some new venture into untested waters. They had 3 years to learn what their consumer base wanted and they blew it and have repeatedly blown it for 2 years. It’s ok to pat someone on the bottom when they do a good job or need encouragement because things aren’t bad but could better. The Bungie devs need swift kicks in their butts not hand pats on their bottom cheeks. You seem to forget how many wallets they currently have access to and don’t seem to understand that even if all those wallets stayed true and bought a 3rd title there probably wouldn’t even be enough money to even break even on development and paychecks for staff. They need more players. Since CoO only 300k have returned to the fold and some of those have voiced their displeasure with the AP to the point where they don’t want to invest in the next content drop. Player base and consumer base needs to increase. It’s not going to increase with what they’ve been doing as of late. Clearly.
