Been taking a break from D2 and playing through Borderlands 2 VR (which is hella fun with the Aim controller) and it’s like night and day difference between the games. Borderlands literally showers you in powerful loot (not, like, light level “powerful”, I mean ACTUALLY powerful. Like, sniper-with-180%-bonus-crit-damage powerful), and the “meaningful decision” is whether or not to run a badass kinetic burst-fire SMG that just does raw damage or a full auto elemental SMG that does less bullet damage but has a high chance to light the target on fire. D2 is like, “oh you played Reckoning for 8 hours? Here’s one Last Man Standing with a shit roll.”
