Sorry should have specified. That 10-20% of the pvp population is there as an afterthought or for pve related reason.

That’s what I’d assume are the people who actively log into Destiny or bought Destiny to strictly play the pvp side of the game. I don’t believe everyone that logs into Pvp is doing it because they “want to”. That was be disproportionate to the amount of hate that has filled all forums, here and other 3rd party sites for the last 5 years or there are alot masochists logging into the Destiny to play pvp while complaining about pvp. Which is not entirely impossible because there are a lot of folks in the Destiny universe that aren’t coloring with a full box of crayons. I’m sure the same argument could be tried for the pve numbers and the pvp players that go into it because “they have to” but PvE numbers have always been larger slice of pie for 5 years. Pvp is a fun mode. If you take it that way. Unfortunately too many people take it more seriously than it is, especially in Destiny. It’s no esport. It’s never going to be the way it’s managed and designed. I guess that’s what happens when the developers of the game only invite steamers who’s bread and butter is pvp and the kids that pay to watch them play or to pay them to play their game for them. Pvp needs a separate sand box, it has needed one since 2014. It should’ve been implemented when the game was rebooted in 9/2017. Their failure to do so has helped erode their consumer base and the faith and goodwill they built up from 9/2014-8/2017.
