Oh you’re one of THOSE guys. Who thinks citing the number of total accounts that ever logged in, and comparing it to the PvE numbers from one DAY is an accurate representation of anything. 12 million unique accounts. That’s an impressive number. You don’t get that without a great game. A daily player total is most certainly less than half of an active player total. Unless you actually think every single active player plays the game every single day, in which case you’re not very smart. No game in the world expects to keep every player from start to finish. So even using the number of total accounts is just asinine. Back in year 1 I remember that number being around 6-7 million. So the game has added 6+ million accounts since then. Sites like DTR track unique accounts completing activities in PvE and pvp. A couple days ago it was 600k PvE and 580k pvp. Which is a very strong daily total, but still not indicative of an active total. A true active total is almost impossible to find. But knowing that there’s no possible way every active player completed activities on that one specific day means the active number is a lot higher. It’s even easy to assume less than half of the active players log in every day, and unless they all log in and complete an activity on the same day, we will never know. I’d bet a lot of money an active total is around 2 million.

Oh, you're one of those snarky D-bags with all sorts of excuses for why the significant drop in the player base is no big deal.
