Yup. Guess the panic be real...

It’s more than likely that Gambit Prime and Reckoning aren’t as popular as Bungie thought they’d be, so they are upping the incentives to doing these activities. Tying Reckoning to Gambit Prime was stupid, if you hate Gambit and Gambit Prime, then what’s the point in doing Reckoning.

Why should I play it if Gambit Prime is nothing but boredom on steroids for me? Played ONE single match when this season was released and then I learned that the Reckoning was heavily linked with Gambit. Realizing this and looking at yet another power climb to 700 with such a flawed infusion economy was enough for me to stop playing this game completely. Considering I'm a D1 Y1 player, that played through all ups and downs of this franchise since 2014, non stop, this says a lot about the state of this game: heavily tuned for a minority.

Edited by ZENITHxZERO: 4/2/2019 3:22:28 AMI don't mind Gambit. In fact, from time to time, I even actively enjoy it. But even I think it was stupid the way they did this. Eight different complete armor sets (for Tiers 1 & 2), multiplied by 3 for each class, just wasted, useless garbage to be immediately replaced by the Tier 3 set(s), and then it's all only useful in one version of one game mode. And the activity to get these sets, The Reckoning, can be unreasonably difficult unless you go in with your own 4-person team so you can get it right. And this. This is the whole season. This is all there is to the season of the Drifter. Ugh. I was so excited for Jokers Wild. That name (and knowing it was going to be Drifter based) had me a little hyped for this season. What a disappointment.
