14 RepliesBorderlands was fun for its time, but if they don’t drastically upgrade into the current loot-shooting generations expectations it’s going to feel incredibly dated and underwhelming.... which I very highly doubt they will iterate any severe changes to accommodate players who have been playing shooters in this decade. I loved borderlands 2, but i have a feeling Borderlands 3 coming out a decade later, is just going to feel empty compared to Destiny. Really can’t see them taking big risks with the franchise, more likely to play it safe and close to home.

I love Borderlands but it’s also not the type of thing that I grind bosses for over and over again trying to get rare weapons with god rolls. So it’ll probably be a thorough one and done for me like the previous ones, but well worth it. Unless there is some kind of new post story content with variance to it. Either way I’m excited. I’ll be getting the BL1 remaster as well because it has been a very long time. It’ll be nice to play it with a nice gaming headset this time as well.

1 ReplyI'm skeptical. I dont trust Gearbox. I dont think they will fk up their flagship franchise, but you never know. They shit on all the Borderlands fans already when they released Battleborn. We'll see. Definitely nothing I'm going to preorder.

3 RepliesWhile BL2 is one of my all-time favorite games (I've bought it three times and have 3k hours overall), a lot of weapons in the BL series are pretty bad. Sure there are a [b]ton[/b] of weapons, but realistically only a few hundred (if that) have ever been worth a dime to use.
