Curse breaker seal becoming impossible
I’ve been playing destiny since House of Wolves and I have enjoyed the game immensely. Although grinding can be tedious I have found it less of an annoyance but more of an opportunity to bond with clan mates. However, this has gone a little too far with achieving seals.
I estimate that I’ve completed 85% of every Dreaming City bounty and Shattered Throne quest when given the opportunity. Not once have I been dropped the starlight shell, silver turcell, and certainly not the ever-elusive Pallas Galliot.
Am I alone in this, or are there others who think it’s a little ridiculous that 98% of this seal is based on farming and 2% on probability? I’m referring to “farming” bones, eggs and completing missions. I understand armor and weapons have a probability drop, but I just don’t understand why this has to be such a slim margin of drop rate for the three items I mentioned above !!!!!!!

I'm frustrated with the Wayfarer seal. I've only needed the stinking emblem since late January. Countless Blind Well runs, and weekly milestones in the Dreaming City and I'm beginning to think it's out of the loot pool.

2 RepliesI've been very lucky and have the things you mention... For a long time I didn't even think the ship was rare until it came up talking with other players. What I don't have is the Pulse Rifle because The Corrupted Nightfall is a myth. Still got some bones and eggs to collect as well but until I get a shot at that Pulse I just can't be bothered.

I got the shell on ps4 but i fully switched to pc in December and have yet to get either of the 3 to drop since then. Still gotta do my DC stuff on my titan when i get off work. Here’s hoping😥

6 RepliesThey were supposed to increase the drop rates with update 2.2.0.2, but I guess they forgot or something (or hoped we would forget after they said they would fix it). I still need the sparrow for cursebreaker, got everything else done. Still need the Niflheim scout rifle for Wayfarer, too....

is the pallas galliot the ship - I got that, it dropped from the ogre when doing the shattered throne. don't know that I have the other two, but have not tried grinding for them either. I would say that I have completed all Dreaming City content at least once.

4 RepliesI have done the ascendant challenge twice a week almost every week since December and once a week since Forsaken has launched. Still no ghost. I also have done blind well every week and I still only have 4 Dreaming City lore. I really don’t want to run the one lost sector 90+ times just to get a piece of lore.

Got all triumphs done as soon as possible and have been locked out of the title just cos of the cosmetics. It's beyond annoying, it took me ages to get the raid cosmetics to drop so I can get the rivenbane title and that was annoying but this feels far worse. I ran shatter throne whenever it's available and completed most Ascendent challenges but never got either the ghost or the ship. I can't count the amount of missions I had to do before I got the sparrow. I find it really frustrating for bungie to take so much time to acknowledge this is an issue as this is no longer based on accomplishments but just locked out cos of luck. Not only they took ages to acknowledge it but said the change will come next month with no information to what the change is. I mean there is no need of a summit to notice this is an issue as people have been complaining about this for ages how this have been marketed wrong. Most people who I meet with the cursebreaker title told me that they didn't feel accomplished with it but it shows how good their rng is.

I got the Sparrow and Ship after very few attempts of anything. The Ghost Shell I'll never know about because I'm never going to grind for for it.
