I'm at 691 power, my primary is 693, my reward for the daily heroic adventure is a 692 Suros Regime. Why would I continue to play, what possible reason is there to continue to play, when a 692 is higher than only 4 of my slots as is, and two of those only by one point?
I've defended the game and attempted to keep my clan active and engaged with what little new content there is, but at this point it really feels like I'm wasting my time.

4 RepliesNo one cares about you or your time. It’s a 3 month long season. You don’t need max light right now. You kids are why modern gaming is so horrible
-
Yeah... Respect time spent.... Then since I grinded to 650 all 3 characters to have bungee given a quickie to 640... I think that took me weeks.. I recently deleted the game and suddenly have much more spare time. ... Tired of the grind with no real reward at the end, and all the same stuff... Now I'm playing "outside" and the graphics are amazing, 3d and NPC seem realistic. Gameplay sucks though as after the "work" grind you have to refuel then more often than not your character sleeps only to wake up in "work" mode again...

9 Replies" Today, Warframe hits two milestones: firstly, it celebrates its six-year anniversary following release back on March 25, 2013. Also, Digital Extremes announced that Warframe is approaching 50 million players, which is impressive, considering the game’s slow start." Bungie must not aspire to be successful. It almost feels like there is an internal struggle for their soul that's losing to the darkside. Like they sit around singing the song by Alan Walker "Darkside." Hopefully they haven't given up trying to be successful and build a 50 million player base.

14 RepliesDivision 2 is amazing. Level up with gear by doing literally anything in the game. Gear drops and you pick it up and equip it- no infusion cost crap. ITS ACTUALLY MUCH MORE “IMPACTFUL” THAN THIS CRAP BECAUSE I CAN HAVE FUN. Remember fun, Bungie?

7 RepliesThey’ve already lost me, I’m a D1 vet so I’ve about had it with D2 - Armor is trash - DLC has been mediocre - Enhancement cores (nuff said) - No trials -Iron Banner is a shell of its D1 counterpart - Strikes are useless - PvP meta is just beyond stale without an update The game is just not fun anymore🤷🏼♂️

96% of the player base has already left.

Sucks to suck, play a different game

7 RepliesA heroic adventure is only a tier 1 activity. They’ve outlined this in one of the TWABs. Plus I don’t understand frustration with this? Take your time enjoy the game and that you still have something to go after. It’s not like being 690 hinders you from doing anything in the game. The only ones I feel bad for right now are the people struggling with MW cores. Outside of that issue the game is in a good state. It’s really at a play at your own pace kind of setting. And it’s nice to be able to do that and not feel as if you’re getting left behind. I’ve played Destiny through its entire existence religiously. And where I hold a certain Nostalgia for D1 and besides Age of triumph this game is as good as Destinys ever been. There’s a lot to chase exotics are fun to use and feel exotic the last 2 raids have been steps back in the right direction. You can call me a fanboy, and to a degree I suppose I am. But sometimes we take games to seriously and fail to sit back and look at the fun we have playing it. Also if we’re going to talk about time investment where do you spend spend this much time for the amount of money Destiny requires? Everybody says oh look we’ve dumped $150 into a single game. Oh well? You didn’t drop it all at once. People act like 30 or 40 bucks is a bank breaker(I know to some it is). Most people spend more than that on one night out for way less time of enjoyment. Sorry for the rant if you read this far I was just trying to provide the insight to remember it’s just a game it’s meant to be fun.

Already lost players, losing more.

Listen, let’s all just realise and accept that bungie doesn’t give a shit. I used to spend a lot of time enjoying the game - strikes, adventures, story line etc. Now I just mainly play quick play for the quick thrills of playing with fellow gamers. I dun bother much with the rest of the content as bungie will eventually nerf the guns / armour / Super u try so hard for anyway, or they’ll come up with some seriously over powered pinnacle weapon (and it’s almost always a hand cannon nowadays) that beats everything but takes like 300 repetitive and meaningless tasks tp get and I dun have the time for that. Have u seen how stunted the crucible games have become... some people getting 4-5 kills while others get more than 40? So everyone huddles in groups and waits for the other team to come in and the games become really slow or they just wait for their supers. I’ve seen groups that are so outclassed people just leave the match halfway. I’ve got TONNES of exotic weapons - autorifles, scouts, snipers etc, from all those past hours farming but they’re shit now — two- three shots from a Luna’s howl or not forgotten and u have no chance. Does bungie give a damn? They can’t even do a simple and obvious thing that almost EVERYONE wants like removing those darn infusion cores! So I’m just gonna play my crucible match now and the and just forget about the rest of the content. When I come up against teams that full of hand cannons and just camp in one area and wait for the other team to come at them, I’ll just leave and go into another match.

Edited by Boxlarpa: 3/28/2019 1:29:57 PMSo, I've been reading this and similar posts on the forum. Now I gather that you are playing Destiny and the like NOT to have fun playing, but to get some gear. Digital stuff. Weird. I've always played games because I have fun doing so. Enjoying the concept and mechanics and such. IMHO I think it's time to move on when having fun is not the reason you play a particular game. [Unless it makes you money. People do all kinds of weird shit, reluctantly and/or very often aggravated at the same time, for the sole purpose of garnering money. It's the way of the world the bankers made it into.] I understand that this is a one sided approach/comment. And that you would like to keep playing D2, but are unhappy with the rewards it gives you. (Likewise, I did a second play-through of D1's campaign and never ever changed out my weapons as the ones I had were better than anything the game gave me in the entire second campaign. And I was very ticked off at this. -It's no Borderlands, that's for sure.)

The only reason you should need to play any game is weather you enjoy the game and have fun playing. This game like any other game is what you make of it. If you feel like playing is a chore you shouldn't waste your time and play something you enjoy.

At 675, did 4 powerfuls yesterday that all dropped below the level of the slot they dropped for. Even better, I'm not at 690 so they should have at least dropped a few levels higher than 675. Lol, wrong. One dropped at 677, the rest at 676. Iterating on the flaws in this game is taking too long, and that's sad. Even a mediocre game can be salvaged with an agile dev team behind it. How is bungie unable to move on anything without taking 3 months? What happened to the team we used to know?

2 RepliesEdited by Impurity41: 3/26/2019 11:00:28 PMI stopped playing after black armory came out. I have a part time job, college, and life to worry about. I can’t get on as much as I used to back in the D1 days. I got on black armory and it told me to get multikills with heavy weapons. Obviously I know how to do that shit quickly but I felt heavy drop rates were nerfed. I was playing for 2 hours and got 2 heavy bricks. That’s all the time I got in the day to play and I accomplished nothing. That’s when I decided “I’m not getting on here to pray I get heavy bricks for 2 hours to get the first gun in the dlc. Nope. I love you d2 but you gotta fix your shit.”

My clan has decided to play other games. We have a Division and an Anthem spin-off from our Destiny clan. Destiny isn’t worth playing exclusively. There’s zero reason. I’m levelling 1 character to 700 for no reason other than the gunplay. I play Destiny less and less. I’ve enjoyed Anthem despite the plethora of issues and am liking Div 2. Play these other games with your current clan mates. You’ll enjoy gaming more so if you do.

cause rewards are based on your max average power and not the individual pieces of gear
-
lol one random reward didn’t make you happy and now you’re done??? You are either the luckiest player ever, who always gets what they need or are having a bad day. This has always been the story with Destiny.... never get the slots you need powered up. Part of the monotonous grind and why I could give 2 shits about actually power leveling anymore.

The drops are based off of your total charachter score , not the score of an individual item You are 691, so it gave you a 692 item, sucks that it was a weapon, because I'm guessing none if your armor is that high -
Bungie actually stated that powerful rewards around 690 power would be minimal increases, prime Engrams are your best bets!

They fixed it to +2 last season for this reason, don't see why they went back to +1 most of my playtime lately is myself getting so frustrated that I just watch Netflix instead

21 RepliesI read somewhere that 96% of all players who have ever played this game have abandoned it by now. Now, that sounds like some made up bullshit statistic and I don't even remember where I heard it, but at this point I'm actually inclined to believe it. I watched the clan I was in slowly bleed players and die off, and when they were giving the game away for FREE I couldn't even convince any of my friends to pick it up, the ones who tried it quit playing within a week, some quit within a day. Whenever I'm in the tower on Tuesdays or Wednesdays I often see the same players there, it's like deja-vu. "Wait, didn't I see this guy standing here in this exact same spot at this exact same time a week ago?" is what I often find myself thinking.

You are wasting your time and Bungie has list the good will of a majoriy of the community. I wont buy the next years expansion or destiny 3. Bungie gave this old player the finger...over and over
-
3 RepliesJust take a break from it my friend. Find another game to enjoy. There does seem to be a lot of "Division" in Destiny right now, "2" much in fact... The issue with enhancement cores seems to me the playerbase's "Anthem" right now.... I ain't advertising or nuttin.....I'm just sayin......

Bungie are just plain incompetent at this point you may be better off directing your feedback towards someone like Unknown-player or Datto or the likes. Maybe just slip in a D2 feedback request amongst the video replies for example ;)
