I don't understand why supers need to be free kills. I say nerf their obnoxious armor back to hell.
I miss the days in D1 when you had to be strategic. If you failed, you got the ol' shotgun melee combo

same, 3 point blank shotgun shots to kill a super is pathetic and is a product of people crying because they sucked and used their super wrong
-
I'll one up you here. It takes 3 headshots with the Chaperone to kill a spectral blades. So all shotguns take 3, other than tractor and acrius.
-
Titan and Warlock supers can be nailed out with a shotgun blast, with the exception of pre-nerf Nova Warp. SB is the only super that currently has the equivilant to Dark Souls Hyper Armor.
-
no they can’t

Edited by myhandsrcrampin: 3/26/2019 8:52:36 PMNot even close bud. You can empty a whole magazine of shotgun into some titans and they will tank it. Earlier today I played a match of IB and I hit a few precision mida* shots on a warlock in nova warp then dumped a whole clip of my sidearm into him. He survived and got me.
-
bruh....your first mistake is getting PvP statistics from IB...............
-
Bruh...the guy was lower light level than me. If anything it’s more of a testament to the issue.
-
The testament being that you don't go into IB looking for consistent stats.....and if he was lower light level than you and that STILL happened.....bruh......stop getting PvP statistics from IB!!!!
-
BRUH.... I am not getting “pvp statistics” from IB and never claimed to. I have anecdotally shared an instance to counter op’s claim. Enough tomfoolery out of you...bruh

Your specification of Iron Banner is the part that gets me since its the only PvP scenario where Light Level matters. Even 10 points is a shift on their scale when it comes to player to player damage. Were you using one of the burdens as well? Also did you check their kit out or did you just go in blazing? I keep old IB stuff around for Iron Banner so I can get that % defense in my supers for extra crunch.
-
While I'm quite skeptical of your claim, I would love to see anything other than Acrius engaging a roaming super. Or any super for that matter. As it stands, you cannot, "nail" supers as you call it. The numbers simply don't allow it unless they're already severely damaged.
-
wardcliff and tractor cannon shuts down supers too.
-
golden gun can be sniped one shot out of super.
-
I'm aware of that. I've done it many times
-
I've been taken out in a Sunspot by a Dust Rock (with one stack of Rampage engaged) in Comp and a Chaperone slide shot. That's with running Resil of 5. I'll try to get it recorded next time to post it somewhere.
-
While rampage is a situational buff, I don't know if it can still do it. I'm just not seeing any math supporting shotgunning supers. Perhaps you were already damaged but didn't realize it? I've pumped two Dust rounds into supers before to no avail.
-
Shotgun’d a few goldies at point blank range and always left them 1 shot.
-
Me too. Two dust rock and a melee on a sunspot titan. He survived and killed me.
-
Most supers had health regen back in D1, so it was much different.
-
And I'm sure they can code that as well

It was a select-able perk. We don't have those anymore. We have perk trees.
