Ever since D1, I've been a solo, pvp player. I'm older than the average player here, so I'm not really interested in teaming up, nor do I do any raids. This means I don't necessarily have the best gear/weapons set. And that's been fine with me. Until now.
Lately, I've been trying to get Luna's Howl, and I've found out as an average, casual player, this is nearly impossible to get. After 3 months of slowly grinding away at the quest steps, I'm only at 41% of the solar kills portion, and my Glory rank fluctuates between Brave I and III. It's frustrating to see my XP go from 800 down to 200 when I have losing streaks.
As an average player, I just enjoy playing the game, and I'm not really interested nor have time to put hours into the game to compete with people who play much more than I do. In my opinion, I think the current state of the game has a prejudiced bias against players like myself - people who enjoy PVP over PVE, and those who prefer to go at it alone than team up.
As much as I love this game, this is slowly driving me away. I wonder if there are any other players like me here?

Hey Bungie, I solved the problem. I just deleted D2 and all my troubles about solo gameplay prejudice and unattainable goals just went away.
