Your being in the military, likely is why you enjoy this game, let me explain. You likely work long hours, have a family, don't get as much time as the rest of us to play. This means you won't notice the glaring holes in this game as quickly as we do; but you will eventually. Take the annual pass as an example; Bungie didn't drip-feed us this content because it's what we wanted; they're doing it because it's all extremely thin and we'd blow through it in a weekend. Also, the crucible is horrible; you wouldn't know this if you only played enough a week to get your powerful reward; but those of us that are grinding for pinnacle weapons know. This game is for the casual - no doubt about it - they've even tried to artificially extend simple quests by adding meaningless grind, this only makes things more noticeable imo. This last DLC has to be a monster, or that's it for me, in not trying to trigger anyone but this have is a huge disappointment to me. Crazier still is we know they can do better because they have in Destiny 2; Forsaken was good, quality content, worthy of its price but once every 12 months is not even close to enough imo.
