We gathered up feedback from across the internet since the TWAB's announcement to share with the team. We'll continue to monitor the conversation and pass along your suggestions. If anything changes, well post an update.

Now if you could pass on the depth of feeling about removing Enhancement Cores from infusion, that would be great. If you could also let the Investment Team know that “dev-splaining”, for the fourth or fifth time, their reasons for why the Cores were originally put into infusion is condescending, arrogant and shows their lack of empathy with the playerbase. This would be helpful in the future for not antagonising said playerbase. 😀👍

Please Cozmo. Please make it happen. The cores have to go. Revert to year one Masterwork cores and Masterwork system, choosing your Masterwork weapon stat bonus, being able to switch between trackers, keep the tiered MWs we don’t care. Just take them out of infusion. Make cores rarer, but take them out. The community is begging you.

After seeing all the gathered feedback, in your honest opinion, do you believe the player base is right on the money when saying they want them removed? What problem would it cause if they were to be removed? Because no one seems to be able to form a decent response to that question. I would love to hear your honest personal opinion and to see that question answered by the dev team/investment team at Bungie.

Your team looks at data but this isn't some thing data can answer. Sure data is good for balancing weapons and other things but the data they should be looking at is the feedback from the people that play the game. The numbers can tell you how.many players have and that are used and collected but they don't tell you how much it pisses off the people that have to do the mindless chores to get these cores. We want to be able to play the game how we want to play just like you want to make the game how you wanted to make it. Now your away from Activision and you can make the game how you want it's time to let us play it how we want. Screw the data your player base has spoken. We don't like the cores for infusion so please do the right thing for your players and remove the core from infusion.

Appreciate the response but you must realise these 'passing on feedback' comments are fuelling the flame. Understand you're stuck in the middle, so not blaming you at all, but we are a bit frustrated!

We've gathered up all the Bungie responses across the internet about this topic, and it's the exact same thing, no matter where we look. We will continue to read the same responses for the next 6 months or so and monitor Bungie's amazing stubbornness. Keep the exact same responses coming. Cheers.

Nothing I have picked up in that game has felt utterly worthless in that game, armor sets feel fun and building a character feels meaningful, with the ability to save different loadouts for different scenarios. Bungie's never gonna change. Maybe Destiny 3 will be better, but the framework for Destiny 2 is just way too rigid for them to change much about it. They know if they get rid of enhancement cores, there will be no reason to play this game for more than a few hours a week, because the loot and activity pool is so small. The fact that you still get year one blue gear drops from pretty much every activity other than the raid is a testament to how little they care and how much they expect you to grind

Ubisoft has been practically the only one coming out with good games that stay good. Assasins Creed is always good. The Far Crys have been amazing. Division 2 is so much fun. Aside from some annoying glitches when you get stuck in walls, I would have to say that Ubisoft is doing it right. You also collect Ubisoft coins just from playing the games and are able to unlock items in the Ubisoft Club using coins or for free. Not sure why their rep is so bad because look at the crap that has been put out there lately, this game included.

By time you actually do something it will be too late. Either make the change in 2 weeks or come out and say no change ever. Decide who you want. The people working 9-5 job or the streamers. Cause short of a miracle you can't have both. Accept that fact. Make your choice. 'Live or die' sorry couldn't resist the saw set up.

With all due respect I do not know how much more feedback do you want we've been at this for 6 months and the response we get is tonedeaf at best. Personally I've lost my motivation to play because of the messed up leveling, so I moved on to other things. This game became a chore.

Cores are not meant to be in infusion, YOU (Bungie) designed them this way. There was ever only one suggestion and one conversation that the community has been more than vocal about, and that is the removal from infusion. Your data reflects what we have to do to play the game and what we are already doing, so looking at the data now and saying its "working as intended" is wrong because of course its working, thats the only way we can use the gear we want and gear thats viable. Data shows cores being earned and used, but lacks the depth of how players negatively feel about the process of using and obtaining them. User experience 101.

Edited by killa beaver: 3/26/2019 12:43:50 PMjust get rid of cores from infusion and let us use planet Mats and glimmer to infuse, it already cost 9000 glimmer to and 25 mats to infuse stuff, so that means you can only infuse 9 or so items till you’re out of glimmer.

How much more “feedback” do y’all need?!! People have been complaining about “cores” being added to infusion since the beginning and your answer was to change their name and give us Spider bounties. Months and A LOT of feedback later and your solution is “stay the course” and Banshee bounties. BTW: If y’all go with this “solution”, then I hope you’re ready for the continued “Core-Infusion” threads, as well as the all but certain “Gunsmith Material shortage” threads. Especially seeing as they’re now used (at absorptive prices) to purchase Banshee bounties, Mod Components, etc. …not to mention their ORIGINAL intention of actual GUNS. Simply put, the material economy needs adjusting BIG time and while you’re at it, it would be nice if y’all gave us something MORE to do with Baryon Bough. Specifically with Spider or allowing us to purchase gear from Petra in the Dreaming City, either daily or during a Full Curse week.

I hate to be negative because I've always tried to be cautiously optimistic that Bungie always has the best interests of their community at heart, but this hard line stance makes no sense at all. I can't see a single way to look at it and find a way it benefits the community at all and just shows a bit of that 'we know better than you' attitude that gave us the state of D2 at launch rather than learning from everything we did to make a great game by the end of D1 and just make some quality of life improvements.
