Dear Bungie, please make a Battle Royale
Similar to what Respawn did with Apex Legends, Bungie could use the gunplay and mechanics from Destiny and put them into an amazing Battle Royale game. I think it would be amazing because I think the gunplay in Destiny is what gets people hooked.
To be clear I’m not saying Bungie should add a BR to Destiny, I’m saying they could make a stand alone BR game using some of Destiny’s mechanics.
Idk why this stupid ass community feels like they have to play 1,000 hours of every piece of content that Bungie makes lmao. Just stick to Destiny if you don’t like BR.

This would take development resources away from Destiny 2 and 3, and would be a stupid idea considering Apex is currently regarded as the best BR game yet (from what I've seen anyway), and with Bungie's reputation in the overall gaming community, it's not likely it would get very far

What would be great is if Bungie made all of the Destiny PvP (except Gambit modes) a separate launcher from the PvE. Then, nerfs wouldnt be as big of a PvE issue. There might be some technical hurdles getting what you earn in PvE to be usable in PvP, and then adjusting it for each mode, but let's see some strides forward in technology for a change....

Nope Battle Royale are trash game genre that need to die and fast. Mostly the biggest cash grab too. Well most game are cash grab these days anyway but somehow Battle Royale make it worst.

2 RepliesFor Destiny? Hell no. Stand-alone? Someone else mentioned below about the servers. It would not work without servers to run on and Bungie have not even entertained the idea of servers since Halo 2. Thats nearly 15 years of their community asking for them. The current network model can't even handle what we already have. Plus, battle royale games suck. (my opinion)
