Hi,
I want to change from the disc version of destiny 2 to the digital one, I already have all DLCs and Season pass, also all my characters are at 667, so I don´t want to lose any of the advance I have.
Theres´s any procedure I need to follow to avoid losing my save data (game data)?
I´m on PS4
Regards

1 ReplyDear Guardian, Your worries about character progress are nothing to sweat as the character data is saved on Bungie servers and your dlc content is all linked to your account via a digital license. The only problem you will run into is obtaining a digital copy but if money is not the issue, then all you will need to do is uninstall your physical copy from your system, purchase the digital, and then download the digital copy and dlc’s that you already purchased. I hope this helps answer your questions

Game data is stored on Bungie’s servers and is tied to your console account. As long as you don’t change your console account there is no way for you to lose your progress. To move to all digital you’ll need to buy the digital version from your console store. Be aware that none of the platform stores sell the base game separately anymore so you’ll be buying a package that will include content you already own.
