I think that they are moving from PvE to E-sports as a business model. NetEase, a Chinese e-sports company, just invested $100 million in Bungie. The new Gambit and Forge are Bungie making the move toward e-sports and away from expensive to make PvE. If there is a D3 I expect it to be all like Gambit, Crucible, and Forge.

They DO care if it’s fun and rewarding, they just don’t seem to have a clue as to what ‘fun and rewarding’ actually MEANS.

That's not true. Bungie wants people to have fun playing Destiny 2. Just because your expectations aren't being met, doesn't mean Bungie doesn't care. If you want to be heard, quit playing for a month. People keep complaining, and it hasn't moved Bungie to make the changes people on this forum are demanding. So stop playing. Bungie will have to acknowledge a significant drop in the player base. Or face not being able to keep the Destiny Universe a float.

If they want me to bother with their investment system they have a long way to go. Though there are some simple steps they could take. [u][b]Make everything obtainable.[/b][/u] I don't care if it's not the season anymore, it's more stuff to try and get. [u][b]Let me pull anything from collections.[/b][/u] Because it's stupid to have otherwise. [u][b]Make every piece of gear capable of all options it can possibly have perks, mods, masterwork, and even shaders.[/b][/u] You can then focus on modifiers that play with perks both broadly and more intimately. Players get to experiment, and RNG is still there but not obnoxious. [u][b]Make everything capable of being maxed out.[/b][/u] Extend that to all gear rarities, all the way down to white. In other words anything can get to legendary status. Yeah it will look odd, but who cares. Bonus points for streamlining the economy to just be glimmer because having multiple currencies is unnecessary and confusing to boot.

Of course, bungie has been farming the REAL endgame all along!

That's why d1 was better so many weapons and it was fun to go into the wild and collect legendary engrams and go to the cryptach to open them. Same with exotics. They should have made d2 a dlc add on to d1 it would have gave us so many different plants to play on not to mention strikes raids and nightfalls! They should concentrate on new plants to explore pve in this game sucks ass!
