HOWEVER, in the fall Bungie are going to need more than the top 1% to buy their new offering. If I were a betting person, I would wager they will be gone for infusion at that time. Bungie can pridefully abuse their players now because they already have their cash. When they need everyone to come back with their wallets open, I have a feeling Bungie will suddenly "GET IT".

If they refuse to back down and listen before the next release they’ll have poisoned too many “once loyal customers” who’ve bought their unfinished or poorly thought-out products once too often. I’m gone already, if they can’t realise that the game isn’t fun because of a lack of loot, content and the throttled progression to hide that fact ? Then Bungie just don’t deserve my money when they next have content to sell. I’m enjoying Anthem and Division 2. I feel no need to return to Destiny until it is fun again. Truth be told they have probably lost me. Been burnt once too often.

Bungie are just plain incompetent at this point, you may be better off directing your feedback towards someone like Unkown player or Datto or the likes. Maybe just slip in a D2 feedback request amongst the video replies for example ;)

5 RepliesLet me ask: Who at Bungie thought that Curse of Osiris would get good feedback? Who at Bungie thought slowing down player xp gains was a good idea? Who at Bungie thought putting half the loot content in an expansion behind a paywall would be acceptable? Who at Bungie thought that re-releasing story missions as strikes would be okay? Who at Bungie thought a “Raid Lair”, that is easier than some strikes would satisfy players. These are all things Bungie tried to pull with COO, and even though they were fixed let’s not forget they happened. Bungie Knew for almost 3 YEARS that players would in no way shape or form respond well to COO or anything in it. The fact they could release two beauties like TTK and ROI then go on to not release another until Forsaken just goes to show Bungie doesn’t care.

Streamers either don’t care or don’t like enhancement cores either. I think they’re just an annoyance that doesn’t belong, not anymore.

This community indirectly caused this problem by giving the money blindly. I waited, got the game with pass and all DLCs for 50$, and I am getting my money's worth. At this point just remove the damn cores so I can see what else this community whines about- cause it will always happen. Next thing you know we will be back to nerfing fusion rifles, scouts, pulses, autos, shotguns, class abilities, super's shields- and so on. From what I observed this community does get what it asks for- cores will vanish but something else will break cause cores are gone. Chain reactions comin!

Bungie is keeping cores in because of the flawed logic that they somehow make infusion more meaningful, not because datto and gladd are whispering in deej’s ear “oh yes, keep cores in deej. -blam!- those solo players, we hate them’ MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA” as they proceed to laugh maniacally and lighting flashes in the background.

I doubt it's specifically in response to streamer feedback. The reason the cores exist is to A) slow down progression and B) lazily increase player engagement across a variety of activities without having to change their mechanics or increase their loot pool. The only way most players will want to play stale content like patrols is if the gameplay is improved and, perhaps most importantly, the loot pool is expanded. Bungie evidently doesn't have the time, will, or resources to deliver those things, so they increase engagement with the idiotic core solution. The game will only feel more tedious when they force the additional step of dropping by Banshee.
