I hope Bungie reads this but imo the Hawthorne change was the best and most underrated change towards the right direction. I read about planning to add more bounties, more currencies, and more consumables. And although I think it's great that it's on their radar, I think it's not the best idea to start adding MORE of these things when the game is already almost full to the brim with it. That's why the Hawthorne change to a progression weekly quest was probably the best for me. In it's own way it: 1. It reduced inventory clutter 2. Reduced inflated playing time 3. Rewarded the player for his time on the game, playing the actual game. Imagine if instead of picking up 5 daily bounties, you picked 1 card for example. It has a progression bar that says "Play strikes, defeat enemies, and use your abilities. Class abilities, Shotguns, and power weapons count more towards progress" and it rewarded 30 Vanguard tokens and 3 enhancement cores. The game does not need anymore dead time, "Inventory" time, or "Tower" time. Imo, it's not a good idea to add more currencies (considering Synths has just been added and only stacked to 20) and bounties when managing the ones we have is already taking too much time. Destiny 2 at it's core is fun. Inventory Candy Crush, Baryon Bough scavenger hunts, and playing "Spider says" is not.
