Everyone should be down voting this poor response from Bungie.
Again, they aren’t listening. Cores should be plentiful and allow us to infuse whatever and whenever we like. We already have to “choose” what weapons we have to use, and cores at their current state only allow those who have infinite time to grind have multiple weapons to masterwork.
Even if bungie did a bit more like allowing all legendary weapons All the time to drop cores would be going a long way and master worked dismantled giving all cores back.
Why is this so hard? Are they really listening?
What happened to fixing rewards? Why is last Wish still dropping 1st year exotics in the last chest? If it drops an exotic it should be 1kv. Quite frankly if a player beat Petra’s run they should automatically get 1kv.
Drops should be a matter of skill then rng.

No, more cores means masterworking is too easy. Just do what everyone wants and remove them from infusion entirely.
