[spoiler]This is my first fanfiction, but if you don’t like these, leave a downvote if you want and keep scrolling. Don’t really expect this post to do well. Anyways, if you’re still here, enjoy my first fanfic! Constructive criticism welcome. Edit: oh wow 1st place in trending in lore with a fanfic... that’s probably not gonna last long, but thanks for the support![/spoiler] Why call myself Sen? Dunno. Ever since my first rez, that’s been the name I’ve stuck to. Anyways, I’m dodging the real question here. Did I know? Nope. Didn’t even know anyone named Shadow up until a couple weeks ago. Mainly stick to myself, do some research or something. (hey, I’m a warlock, gotta study some philosophy. [i]Which came first, the dreg or the egg?[/i]) I’m strange like that. Most of my friends were hunters, and they were also loners. We’d exchange a few comments, but mostly just work in silence. Ugh... dodging the question again. Nope. Never heard of a Shadow until I ran into her one late night where I had worked overtime, so I needed to stop for dinner. As I walked in to order, Shadow rushed out, looking stressed, panicked, and super suspicious . Didn’t know what was up with her, so I asked around while waiting for my order. (Seriously, we have space magic and everything and food STILL takes forever to prepare) Apparently this Shadow person is in a relationship with Variks. Variks is cool in my book. He never hurt me, gave me loot, and always tries to understand me. I respect that. I’m a thinker. Always was. Always will be. Apparently rumor has it that Variks started the prison break that killed Cayde. Eh, a rumor is a rumor. The Variks I knew would never have done that, but for the most part, I was on good terms with him. He respected me, and I respected him. I don’t get what all the fuss is about. Variks, while not human, had a personality that actually matched very well with mine, and from what I heard, Shadow’s. She was a loner, I was a loner, we were both respected by Variks, although Shadow took her relationship with Variks much farther than I would have. Honestly surprised I never heard about Shadow until a while ago. [spoiler] [i]Edit: Sen is a newer guardian, and realized that Variks might not be a loner, but instead everyone banished him, thus leaving him with no one except guardians who don’t understand him [/i] [/spoiler] I try to be logical about everything, but sometimes personal beliefs get in the way. Like Shadow for instance. You are yourself, if you like someone, you can like them. No one should stop you. Before I go, here’s my take on things. [i]We May be endlessly slaughtering each other just because we are different, but at least we still have ice cream.[/i] [spoiler]So, if you read the whole thing, MASSIVE THANKS!!!!
