I don’t even care about the lack of catalysts for the remainder of exotics( I’m lying) I just want a kill tracker on my Ace and others without a catalyst.
Hell If an Ace catalyst just dropped orbs it would be a win(boost that reload would be a nice addition).
Make it happen Captain.

Yes please bungie
-
Kill trackers that track PvE and PvP without needing to be set to that preference would be great.
-
how about all weapons, period? Like, why is that number a secret?
-
It should be availabe for all weapons from the start. Its just a number, doesnt affect power or gameplay. why lock it behind something expensive like MW? Bungie really like inconvenient...
-
I have kills trackers activated on my Ace of Spades and Black Talon. Luckily, before Bungie decided to patch it for no good reason even though it wasn't hurting a single thing, you could go into the companion app and turn on the Trackers manually by selecting the Exotic and it would give you the option to turn on the tracker whether the weapon had a catalyst or not. You could do it with any Forsaken+ exotic (None before, unfortunately), but in a later companion app update they made it so selecting the kill tracker now does nothing, but if you activated it before the update, you kept the tracker. Typical Bungie, fixing and removing the small fun things that in no way negatively affect anyone.

Plzzzz. Crucible Tracker on Chaperone
-
I need it for my last word
-
Yes I want to see how many kills i got with my Kepri's horn
-
I liked that in d1 the collections/lore tab of each exotic kept a count of your kills.

There’s no reason all weapons shouldn’t have it for both pve and pvp tracking. It’s just another dumb thing Bungie tries to present as a special option. They could even add more stats really. Just like bars with no number stats. Dumb... On a side. I just discovered the gun range in Division 2 where you could test all weapons on body targets and you get head an body hit stats with every shot. It’s really nice.

-
They definitely should have a kill tracker
-
I was thinking this the other day
-
Fantastic idea
-
They say the catalysts will return
-
Yes, I want to log the millions I slay with Rat King.
-
Right!?! My Lord of Wolves had well over 10,000 kills in D1 and I want to keep adding on in....oh wait...my favorite gun won't drop for me in this game
-
Edited by Erijian: 3/22/2019 1:26:59 AMIt's obviously a possible thing since I have trackers on my Chaperone, Lord of Wolves, Ace of Spades and Wish Ender from when there was a bug with the app letting you apply trackers to anything related to a weapon. It only worked on Year 2 items at the time however.
-
You used to be able to put a kill tracker on year 2 exotics near the start of forsaken, shame you still can’t.
-
I feel like that may take up to much memory
-
My chaperone would have so many kills on it rip
-
Totally agree.

Edited by Bubbs: 3/21/2019 7:26:40 PMSo my theory is they added catalysts in Y1 to improve the exotic weapons, because popular criticism at the time was aimed at the exotics “not fulfilling the power fantasy”. This also gave the hardcore players something to really chase after and improve their arsenal. With Forsaken, however, the exotics from there do feel powerful, along with the exotics coming from the annual pass. So I can see why they haven’t added catalysts to those weapons. (Because really, how could you make a gun like Ace of Spades or Thunderlord better?) I do think kill trackers would be nice, not so sure about the orbs yet.

This is an excellent suggestion!
-
PLEASE BUNGIE

Still think it’s silly that MIDA catalyst is locked away to legendary rank glory, not that it does anything special, but the tracker would have been nice
