And maybe not have to feel completely disheartened playing a game mode where they solo cue into comp and half the time teammates leave the match early, get match made with total potatoes, or against a team of Recluse/Not Forgotten users carrying a sub to Luna. The best guns in the hands of the best players have broken crucible and in particular the comp play list. Which is a total mess. YOU may be the best solo crucible player but most guardians are having a difficult time with this. And a nice solution would be a reasonable grind in quick play...which is where im seeing teams bring Lunas and not forgottens and now Recluses. Be sympathetic to other players.

Not too good players shouldn’t receive pinnacle rewards. That’s the whole point of them being “pinnacle” get good my guy. Also why would we be sympathetic to your collections, so what you don’t have every single gun that ever existed. Neither do I but you don’t see me complaining.

Thats not the point. They are part of the meta and contain perks that make then significantly better than other weapons. They actually disrupt the quality of crucible and experience for many of your fellow guardians. If the crucible pinnacle weapons were locked out of no competitive modes..they would still be problematic but not as disruptive to the player experience and to the meta. I think guardians just need an alternative path to these weapons...particularly since they are prevalent in quick play. Your experience may be different but ive witnessed many times just being out gunned by a weapon or seen fellow guardians frustrated either in the grind and the comp lists poor match making and penalty system (solos playing stacked teams with lunas and not forgottens or players leave mid match leaving the. Short handed). Thats not the spirit of pinnacle play, the game or a reward system.

I'd be ok with this if the other pinnacle weapons could compete in PvP as well(like broadsword).

Nah the best players deserve an easier time. Getting the pinnacle weapons presents no trouble for them so we'll keep the requirements and the extremely flawed system designed to screw any non top tier player and pander to them. Also, warlocks are still good trying so we're nerfing the nova bomb so it detonates as soon as you use the super, insta killing the user.
