something was wrong with my destiny so i uninstalled it then reinstalled it then it was all fine. the next day i went to play it and i started to notice that my audio was beginning to fade out. it was odd but i though it was just the game, but then all the dialog that the characters were saying pilled up and all came out in one burst.
since then ive uninstalled the game and went back to it just fine. but the next time i rebooted the game it seems to have done the same thing. it doesnt seem to be an audio problem though, because the game crashes and then it prompts me to "scan and repair" which ive done several time to no prevail. havent been able to find anything for it yet.
how to fix broken game

4 RepliesHey there. Appreciate your report. Are you testing this with headphones? Have you tried using alternate headphones or no headphones at all to see if the audio still fades? What areas of the game does this occur? You may want to perform a scan and repair in the Battle.net app to see if that may help with your issue. If that doesn't work, delete the following local cache/settings directories:

– %APPDATA%\Bungie\DestinyPC
More information:
*WARNING* Deleting these will cause you to lose persisted settings, such as logged in users, keybinds and graphics settings in Destiny, etc. The directory names above are actual paths that can be used in Windows Explorer. For example, if you enter "%PROGRAMDATA%" in the Windows Explorer address bar, it will automatically take you to C:\ProgramData (default), which is a hidden directory.
