Edited by LahDsai: 3/19/2019 1:08:13 PMIf we're allowing 3D, I'd have to go with Armored Core Nexus. If we're restricting it to 2D animation I'd probably have to go with Batman: The Animated Series. It's not flashy but it really captures the noir essence of the show and the music is Danny Elfman's score from the original movies. (On a side note, I love how they incorporated it into Batman's rap secion in Lego Movie 2's song Gotham City Guys) Runners up would be: - Borderlands 2 (action packed and good music) - Silverhawks (does it get more 80's?) - The Real Adventures of Johnny Quest (they took the original Saturday morning cartoon theme and made it into the kind of thing you'd expect to hear as the credits roll in a summer blockbuster) - Cowboy Bebop (Tank! is an amazing song. You really should be listening to the full version though. Gotta love that sax solo) - Pokemon (pure nostalgia... also, like Tank!, the show intro wasn't the full version)

Edited by Seraph: 3/19/2019 6:24:10 PMDon’t know if it’s the best, but to me, the Batman: The Animated Series opening is one of the most memorable ones. Great artwork, amazing animation, and full orchestral score. I recently bought the complete box set on Blu Ray and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. On the commentary for the pilot episode,Bruce Tim and Eric Radomski comment on how each episode feels like a mini movie, and I fully agree. They don’t make animation like this anymore.

It’s hard to say.
The intro from Naruto Shippuden with Blue Bird playing is one of my favorites, but that’s just because of the song.
Edited by Streak: 3/19/2019 4:34:56 PMStar Blazer: Space Battleship Yamato 2199 This show was a remake to a much older show Star Blazers. The intro is almost the same, but way better that the original. This is one of my favorite anime intros. Edit 1: animation wise though, they did their best with their 3D. But the music is a fat bop.
