I've bee playing a lot of crucible because I am being forced to do so for majority of the quests now. There are way too many weapons that are one shot kills and it's just not fun anymore.

1 ReplyEdited by HaleFury: 5/2/2022 11:42:16 PMAfter reading most of these comments it Seems they didn't Read "TWAB" at all. Here's a small portion of it ... Now let the "Salt Flow" haha... For those that aren’t in-tune with the intricacies of the Destiny sandbox, this will be a lot to take in. You might need to wait a bit for a fellow community member to break down some of these changes to be less daunting. From a high level, we’re covering the following today: A handful of goals from the team. Glaives, commentary on their design, and some plans for future tuning. Flinch and airborne gameplay, and how we’re pushing these into buildcrafting. Tuning one-hit kills in the Crucible. General tuning for Special ammo, Exotic weaponry, Legendary archetypes, and a slew of weapon perks. Read "This Week at Bungie".

Edited by NeoReaper82: 9/13/2021 3:27:49 PMWelcome to the worst/self-entitled PvP community in gaming. They have 0 clue what skill is and think they deserve a kill instead of earning it. Why do you think no "big" Streamer/YouTuber or eSport players never touch or talk about the crucible? Or why destiny YouTubers/Streamers(PvP focused) will not touch games that require skill?

1. The Industrial Revolution and its consequences have been a disaster for the human race. They have greatly increased the life-expectancy of those of us who live in “advanced” countries, but they have destabilized society, have made life unfulfilling, have subjected human beings to indignities, have led to widespread psychological suffe- ring (in the Third World to physical suffering as well) and have inflicted severe damage on the natural world. The continued development of technology will worsen the si- tuation. It will certainly subject human being to greater in- dignities and inflict greater damage on the natural world, it will probably lead to greater social disruption and psy- chological suffering, and it may lead to increased physical suffering even in “advanced” countries. 2. The industrial-technological system may survive or it may break down. If it survives, it MAY eventually achieve a low level of physical and psychological suffering, but only after passing through a long and very painful period of adjustment and only at the cost of permanently redu- cing human beings and many other living organisms to engineered products and mere cogs in the social machine. Furthermore, if the system survives, the consequences will be inevitable: There is no way of reforming or modifying the system so as to prevent it from depriving people of dignity and autonomy. 3. If the system breaks down the consequences will still be very painful. But the bigger the system grows the more disastrous the results of its breakdown will be, so if it is to break down it had best break down sooner rather than later. 4. We therefore advocate a revolution against the in- dustrial system. This revolution may or may not make use of violence; it may be sudden or it may be a relatively gradual process spanning a few decades. We can’t predict any of that. But we do outline in a very general way the measures that those who hate the industrial system should take in order to prepare the way for a revolution against that form of society. This is not to be a POLITICAL revo- lution. Its object will be to overthrow not governments but the economic and technological basis of the present society. 5. In this article we give attention to only some of the negative developments that have grown out of the industrial-technological system. Other such developments we mention only briefly or ignore altogether. This does not mean that we regard these other developments as unim- portant. For practical reasons we have to confine our dis- cussion to areas that have received insufficient public at- tention or in which we have something new to say. For example, since there are well-developed environmental and wilderness movements, we have written very little about environmental degradation or the destruction of wild nature, even though we consider these to be highly important.

Surely i’m not the only one that thinks the beta version of PvP was better
-
When I see you, I will shoulder charge you lol
-
27 RepliesI mean....this is much better than the team shot boring meta at the beginning of d2
-
1 ReplyI agree. Everyone running around with shotguns and hand cannons is boring af.
-
2 RepliesYou’re the reason the beginning of d2 was shit
-
2 RepliesWhen the time to kills get slower or one shot kills are removed teamshotting with primaries becomes way for appearant. Id rather deal with 2 dust rock blues users rushing me than 4-6 people running around in a pack
-
1 Replywe've gone full circle folks...

42 RepliesEdited by $hirtless Captain Kirk: 3/19/2019 4:49:21 PMYeah gun fights aren't really a thing anymore at all. It's crazy. D2 vanilla had it right.. then Bungie listened to their dumbass vocal minority and ruined it back to D1 style trash. Just slays me that developers gave into that after finally making PvP solid after 3 years of D1 hot garbage. Edit: rest my case. Look at the apes responding.

I've bee playing a lot of crucible because I am being forced to do so for majority of the quests now. 3 RepliesIf youre frequently getting 1 shot then its a problem with you not the game. You need to be smarter of sniper lanes be aware of shotgun rushers and should probably avoid the other team if they have heavy.
-
1 ReplyPiss poor pvp skills if you think there are too many one shots
-
3 RepliesWhat's wrong with one shots? They're all (kinda) rewarding to pull off. Snipers reward accuracy Fusions reward patience Rockets reward patience and accuracy Slug shotguns reward accuracy Normal shotguns... ehh..... bravery?
-
7 RepliesRockets - Shotguns - Snipers. that's it. - th 2 Range and one Close. Suggestion ; Learn your Maps, learn flank routes. Pay attention to your Radar. Knowledge is Power. - I am shit in crucible yet I enjoy it, because I keep at it, I keep trying - I keep Learning. I Adapt. The lanes I challenged previously, I will think twice of challenging now, knowing there might be a sniper contesting the lane or a shot gun user. you can Inspect Players before a match, thus check their loadouts - 90% of the time they will stick with their loadout giving you more or less an idea of how they are going to play. We all play like shit some days - the key is to improve on what you know NOW, and use it to become better.
-
BUt i cAnT mAkE plays?!?
-
31 RepliesBlame it on the people that wanted special weapons back.
-
Those damn snipers.....one shotting me when They dink my head
Kappa
-
2 RepliesPvP has finally got better.... your favorite version was terrible
-
2 RepliesTry them yourself. Learn how to use them. Learn how to counter them. Seriously, we don’t want year 1 crucible. Nobody wants year one crucible. That TTK was awful, it made us feel like absolute weaklings. I’d rather run around with a shottie than have to teamshot everyone.
-
3 RepliesI still get sniped...maybe once a night. I get shotgunned 5 or less times a night. I get fusion rifled never (Jotunn doesn't count). Rockets and direct-hit launcher grenades are heavy, and not in the same category. Maybe you need to learn how to position better? Getting sniped or shotgunned is generally an indicator that you made a mistake.

Edited by ││█║▌│: 3/19/2019 8:52:32 PMBigger and better designed maps will help even things out, because right now the vast majority of the maps on offer favor short range heavy hitters. Besides, even with these maps, PvP is much better in year two than it was in year one. Time to kill was too slow, everyone held each others hands, and most people camped the heavy like their life depended on it. That shit was boring...
-
Wow, did bungie make it a requirement to get weapons now? Are they restricting our access to the game if we don't play pvp? That's ridiculous and I won't stand for it.
-
8 RepliesActually...It's not as many as D1. Its Bungie policy that let the special and heavy ammo drop on kill. It means the low skilled players will lose their ammo and keep feeding the High skilled players with special and heavy ammo. Very stupid policy. Other stupid policy is giving the High skilled players better weapons. That's only few example why D2 PVP is not fun for average skilled/majority players. Because bungie cater to high skilled aka minority players

Dont like OHK Weapons? Keep your azz on patrol then. And before you say learn to use a primary my most used weapon is a primary(HC’s) followed by the Chaperone. Double Primary play is BORING AF and leads to everyone do nothing but teamshooting. I refuse to play Year 1 Crucible again. What a borefest.
