Could Nokris bring back Crota, Oryx and potentially Xol?

(Assuming Nokris isn’t dead) couldn’t he bring back Crota, Oryx or Xol? Since he can resurrect hive back from the dead. I don’t think he could bring Xol back but i think he could bring back Oryx or Crota if he wanted to?

I think you're all forgetting like the Whisper Of The Worm, Xol is still alive gaining more and more power as we kill with it, Touch Of Malice from Kings Fall has parts from every raid boss and in the Lore tab Oryx is speaking to us telling us that he intended that he wanted this to happen, Oryx is still alive along with his court because of it. Edit: Simply we only destroyed their physical formes.

Potentially yes. Crota, Oryx, etc. were all hive and they got their power over time by following Sword Logic. Even if Nokris didn't have the power to when we fought him, he could gain it if that was something he sought. But also keep in mind that he was ostracized and cast out by Oryx, so why would he want to bring his brother or father back? And I don't think any of them have the power to bring back a Worm either.

    • Not sure. Would probably take an ass-ton of soulfire to revive one though. Xol is a gun now though, so he probably can’t get revived.

    • He could and probably has tried bringing back Xol’s physical form. Remember the lore tab for the Whisper states that Xol or Nokris(can’t remember which) was back on Io conversing with the Taken or whatever, so...

      • In the book of sorrows there is a part where Auryx kills both of her sisters in their sword realms, this being a true death. They are later revived by Auryx performing their natures in a later conflict, so it might be possible for every Hive god up to this point to be revived at some point, but I don’t know for sure on a few of them.

        • His “death” looks awfully similar to Oryx’s “death” from TTK’s last mission. (I didn’t realized until I frequented the forums that he didn’t die but sent himself to his ascendant realm)

        • Maybe not Nokris, but Chuck Norris could!

          • <Why though? They're pretty much excommunicated from one another, I'm sure Nokris hates Crota, and I don't believe Nokris and Oryx are on speaking terms. Xol isn't quite dead, he's a gun now.>

            • Unlikely, given the sheer immense power of both his father, brother and even Xol to an extent. Especially considering the worms exist after death anyways.

            • Xol isn’t dead but Oryx could possibly be.
