Oh it's even worse trying to do it with anything but a void hand cannons, too. I got frustrated using them and switch to a pulse rifle and it slowed me down SO much.

I use Trust and Telesto heavily, so that should be doable. Just need to wait for an Iron Banner.

Well I only played quickplay, so i can't tell you how much competitive/Iron Banner is gonna help, but you're probably smart for doing that.

Quickplay is essentially Trials with 6 players, little or no SBMM. Competitive is supposed to be a bit better. In Crimson Days and Iron Banner, I was fighting people who were around my own skill level. My PvP-skilled clanmate called it super sweaty, which indicates he was fighting people at his level, too.

You know, I was wondering about Crimson Days. I was winning way more in that playing with randoms than i ever had (full party notwithstanding). You think it was more SBMM instead of CBMM?

I know it was. I may be a bad PvP player due to inherent limitations, but I've got 4 years of PvP experience. I know when I'm up against players above my skill level. Doesn't happen in Iron Banner, didn't happen in Crimson Days.
